Im having a dec wedding and I want M&M's in a box with a saying on the tag with our wedding date and our names? Any suggestions?????

I bought a wedding dress this week at the "Running of the Brides" in New York at Filenes (which they are all non-returnable). The dress is a beautiful $4,000 gown from Janell Berte's 2007 Couture Line. I paid $499! When I bought the dress, I couldn't even really see what I looked like in it... I had to try it on right in the aisle and look in the little mirror at the sunglass stand! Now I am having seconds thoughts... While the dress is very pretty and everyone was trying to barter me for it, it is nothing like all of the dresses I have picked out in magazines, and it's strapless which I never thought I wanted.

I am planning on taking it to a seamstress to have some straps added, which I think will make it more my taste. I am really torn what to do though. Do I go to a seamstress and try to alter this to be more like my "dream dress"? Or, is that a waste of money? Do I just try to sell it on e-bay and buy a new dress? Any thoughts? I am really stuck!

I have a 5 year old neice and 6 and 7 year old nephews. But on my fiances side their are 2 new babies 3 and 6 months old. We are not getting married till next year so the babies will be walking by then , and I dont want to hurt anyones feelings by not putting them in the wedding any ideas on how I could incorprate them all into the wedding party without looking over crowded?
Also what do you think about our daughter who will be almost 2 walking my fiance down the isle?

I just got engaged and am planning the wedding now. I live in washington state and was wondering if anybody new of some good places to have the wedding and the recption where I can do the food myself and not have to use the facilites cateror. And that doesn't cost and arm and a leg???? Please no jokers who just want points.

We have been together for 3 and half years and we are trying to figure out our future plans together, we are both a year out of high school i'm 19 and he's 20, He is currently in the Army Reserves and wants us to move in to the Army homes instead of our apartment. So he asked if we decide to get married when and i'm not sure. I can't wait til we finally do but i don't know the right age.

I have been thinking a lot lately about getting married, all I know it will be within 5 or 6 years and although it may be a long ways away a thought came across me. I am going to need a gong for the father daughter dance that relates to a person who is like a fater where my real dad passed away. We have been together for 3 years. we now have a 7 month old baby girl.I work days and he works nights because we cant afford a baby sitter! It has been my dream to marry! and now we finally decided on a date to work up to! Jan 5 2008!
I want something romantic, and something we can afford. we probably wont have any more then 30-50 people.
My dad sugested haveing everyone bring something to share kinda like a pot luck. Then we can just get something big like chicken or pasta as the "big dinner part" and every one bring their own drinks.
is that kinda shady or a bad ideia?

I am getting married Monday 5,2007.We could not afford a wedding,so we are going to the courthouse.My 12 year old daughter will be holding a flower girl basket.My 10 year old son has a ring berriers pillow.We have a friend to take pictures and one to run the camcorder. My brother and his wife will be there and so will my 18 year old daughter and her friend.We sent invitations to our friends and the rest of our families.We invited them to our house for wedding cake and punch.We are on a "beggers" budget.Do we need to add anything to the menu,or is cake and punch enough?

I am so confused! Does my groom toss my real garter or a different one? If he does not toss my real garter, then what are you supposed to do? I mean, do I wear both or do we do a lil' switch-a-roo? I would prefer to just switch them after he takes mine off...is this dumb and if it is not dumb then can you please give suggestions about how to make the switch? The two garters will not look the same so yeah. Also, I don't know where to find a big enough garter! I am not a twig which is what all the garters I have seen are for! Please help me with that one too! Thanks in advance.

so how can I remain polite, after all the wedding is coming up, so I NEED to be polite about this, and ask her not to bad mouth him to my mom. is there a subltle way besides calling her up and saying 'LOOK LADY' she lives far away and we don't see her very much, I like her and I want to continue likeing her, so how can I be delicate in this matter. and most Importantly Why would she bad mouth her son to his future mother in law, I dont get it.

I have a friend who asked me to be in her wedding in Sept. She asked me to purchase a $400 dress in Oct &I starting calling her, asking for her to talk to me. I texted her & emailed her because I wanted to tell her there was no way I could afford a dress like that at that time. She sent me an email later in the month telling me she would contribute money toward my purchase but I still couldn't get her to answer the phone. I saw her at a job &since we were both working hard &basically in public I couldn't talk to her but extracted a promise to talk to her before christmas. Despite my calls to set something up there was no response. Finally in feb. I got a handwritten letter telling me that my dress was waiting for me to pick up (wrong size), I can give her 200$ towards the dress purchase and the rehersal dinner was at such and such time and wedding at such and such time. At no time was I given an invitation and nowhere in the letter does it state WHERE any of this takes place.
