I've decided to print my own wedding programs. I am trying to find a nice icon/symbol to put on the front. Something classy...somewhat elegant. I can't really seem to find anything. Any ideas?

Our wedding program was simple but elegant. The cover was ecru vellum. In large fancy script, with a gold font it simply had our names on the cover:
Jane
and
John

The vellum was wrapped around a second sheet of matching light cardstock. The inside of the second sheet had all of our wording. To put it all together, we used a gold tassel to hold the two pieces together. So you don't have to use an icon or symbol on the front if you don't want to.

Here's a nice site with tons of examples you may like:

I second the Initial idea. I got a program with an initial on the front this past summer and they had written their first names on either side of it. Very classy looking.

You can buy 100 blank inside wedding programs for like $8 with beautiful pictures etc on the front, allowing you to print the rest in b&w. See for example www.augsburgfortress.org, www.cph.org, or www.nph.net,..those are all Lutheran publishing and church supply companies, but there are other wedding and church supply companies out there too.

Might save you time and color printing costs.
