I am so confused! Does my groom toss my real garter or a different one? If he does not toss my real garter, then what are you supposed to do? I mean, do I wear both or do we do a lil' switch-a-roo? I would prefer to just switch them after he takes mine off...is this dumb and if it is not dumb then can you please give suggestions about how to make the switch? The two garters will not look the same so yeah. Also, I don't know where to find a big enough garter! I am not a twig which is what all the garters I have seen are for! Please help me with that one too! Thanks in advance.

after reading some responses....so are you supposed to only have one? or do you have two? I mean, you aren't supposed to toss your real bouquet, but some people do...which by the way I plan on having a different bouquet to toss

Try this website for a garter:

plus-size-garters.html

I had to break this up into two lines so it would show the whole link..

Put your toss garter on the bottom and your other garter on top (or further up your leg) so that he will know which one to get. You wear both on your leg. You probably won't have time to switch with picture and everything else so just put them on when you're dressing.

Congratulations!

I was wondering the same thing too so I asked my sister in law. She suggested that I do the same thing she did. She wore both garters. My brother remover both of them but he threw the one that was bought specifically for thr garter toss. So that's what I've decided to do as well.

I'm not a twig neither so I bought my garter from rexcraft.com. They have adjustable garters. The one I bought has a button to keep it together. But they also have ones that you can tie a bow on it to keep it together. They come in many different styles too.

Good Luck!

you only wear one and thats the one that gets tossed. other then that...why would you want to keep one? its kind of pointless and they dont actually do anything. I'm not a twig either and I found one to fit. they arent that small and are elastic so it should fit. as for the bouquet...I tossed my real one. it was going to die anyways so why keep it?

Wear 2 garters. One up high for keeps and one a little lower for tossing. My best friend is plus sized and I made both of hers for her wedding. I little ribbon, elastic and thread for the toss and extra ribbon and embellishments for the keepsake.

You can toss one and keep one, but why? You are going to have so much stuff to keep from your wedding. If you do keep one then wear it higher on your leg than the toss one.

Thanks for asking this question. I didn't realize until now I had no idea how to do this either. Congratulations and best wishes.
