My friends husband proposed to her by putting a note on the bedroom door on valentine day asking her to meet him at the cafe where they first met. When she got there the waiter gave her a red rose and another note. The second note sent her to the park where he remembered sitting for hours just hugging her but felt they had spoken a million words. There she found another rose and attached to it was a note to go to the restaurant they both love so much. When she got to the restaurant, she was given another red rose and guided to the table where her partner was waiting for her with a bouquet of roses in one hand, the ring in the other, and on his knees. She was in tears of joy. All I can say is I'm jealous.

My husband had a run of horrible luck and an even worse first marriage. He is a wonderful man! He called and asked me to dinner... I was senior in college... I said yes of course. It took an hour to get to the school from his house... well that day it took two and a half hours. We went to dinner and then he said he had something to show me. He took me by his first house and told me he was closing that book of his life and was getting ready to start writing a new one. I was like, that is a good idea. We got to the end of the street and he told me we needed to talk and I needed to sit in the passenger seat of his truck... country girls like to sit in the middle...lol! So I did and was expecting the worst as I turned my head to look out my window and trying not to cry. I turned to see what he was doing in the console of his truck... only to see the most beautiful ring I've ever laid eyes on. I have no idea what he said after that... but I remember telling him yes when he asked me ten minutes later if I was going to marry him. We've been married for over a year now and every day is better than the first. Not as romantic as some, but to me it was the sweetest thing of all.

He asked me at his graduation ceremony. He wrote Jessi will you marry me on the top of his cap. During the whole ceremony I just wanted to burst out with my answer. Then after the procession he met me in front of the school with the ring and roses, got down on one knee and asked the big question. I couldn't believe it. We have been together for five years and we have been married since June 24th of 2006.

my man proposed to me in front of his unit as he was re-enlisting for 3 more yrs of serves as he gave his speech he called on me and then he got on one knee and pulled out a ring and asked me if i due him the honor of being his wife to help him through the next 3 yrs and the rest of his life, and the best part was all the guys couldn't go any where till i answered the q and it took me a few to get back on my feet and say yes with tear filled eyes and after that they all hugged us and shouted really really loud.. hope you all have a great proposal when it happens.......
