well 1st off let me say congrads on ur engagement..

sadly i dont live in washington, but the only small advice that i can give(that i myself am looking into also)is look for wedding chapels that may have wedding packages.its a great way to save some money and still get what u want.as for the reception i would defiantly go to a place where you and ur future husband would both find entertaining for ur guests and urselves.

wish u the best of luck..and once again congrads : )

When it's time to plan a wedding and always finding good places to hold both the ceremony and the reception it's always a good idea to look at all aspects. If you have the money in the budget find a planner sometimes they can give you a hand with the planning process. If you'd like ideas give me a shout and I can give you a hand.
When your looking at reception sites see if they allow you to bring food in, some places don't allow that. But it's always good to check.

A friend of mine had her wedding at the Marcus Whitman Hotel in WA. It was really nice and allows outside catering. You can find complete information about the facility here: http://www.elegala.com/venues/85-marcus-whitman-hotel

Here you can also download their complete event planning brochure - which provides more detailed information.

Hope this helps!

Try asking your church or a local one some times they have basements or recreation areas that they will rent for a wedding reception. Also you could try your local VFW chapter many of them rent their halls out for weddings and such to make a bit of money for the til.
