i have been with him for fourteen days so far. but have known him for 9 months. i was born in fort worth texas, on october 3, 1991. we have talked about our future, about children, and about marriage. i want to know for sure that he is the one that will always be there, if he's the one that will be my groom if and when i marry, who will stay faithful to me and who will grow old with me till the day we die....our start happened when i was being there for him with his problems, with his exgirlfriend. she wasnt treating him right. She barely had anytime for him and called him every 2 days. when she met him she says she fell in love with him and then just tried to change him in every aspect. he says that she wasnt the girl that he met. Now we're together and we're happy. but we want to be happy together for the rest of our lives. We plan to marry june 18th 2010. i want to know if we'll even make that far and if by then if we'll still be happy and if he will be as faithful as i am gonna be

The maid of honor in my wedding has an ichthus ("Jesus fish"-- we're Christians) tattooed on her upper back. While I don't have a problem with the tattoo itself, and am fine with her choosing to put it on her body, I'm a little wary about having it show up in my wedding pictures. She mentioned herself having to get cover-up for it, initially, but then seemed to back off, asking me "You don't think it looks tacky, right?" and asking me to ask my fiancee whether or not he cares (he doesn't).

I don't want to hurt her feelings, and she is somewhat high-strung, so should I request that she cover it up or not?

Im mexican and have had lots of trouble in my life and as we met i knew we would hit it off and i just feel right now that he's the one. but i need my answer. i am born in 1991 october 3, and his name is michael garcia. I have three older brothers and two younger brothers and i barely see the younger ones. And i was born in fort worth texas. All of my brothers names are Daniel, Roy, Alex, ralpheal, and Julian. michael has one brother and one sister. his birthday is April 4th. michael gave up his ex girlfriend to be with me, for certain reasons like, as she met michael, she liked him and fell in love with him the way he is and then she tried to change him in mostly every aspect. he didnt like it and i was there to comfort him with thier problems and she barley had any time for him and called him every 2 days. Thats where i came in and he left her because he saw something better in his future with me. we've been together for fourteen days so far, but have known each other for 8 months.

I am having my reception at an American Legion. My bridesmaids are going to be in the color apple as well as my maid of honor just a different dress. My dress will be white. I have had two kids with the man I am marrying. I can't go way over board, but I want it to be elegant and something that our families will remember forever. Any suggestions are great.

I was raised Catholic, but have never accepted their faith and am no longer affiliated with any religion. My mother insists i provide corsages to my godparents and recognize them in the program of my non-denominational ceremony. I have never been close to my godparents, and they have never acknowledged themselves as being my godparents at any time except my baptism. To further complicate things, I do not respect or like them, and my mother knows this. My position is that this recognition would seem false/awkward/whatever. My mother feels that failing to do these two things is a slap in the face to my godparents. Should I just do it and avoid the conflict? Or is it a matter of principle?

My best friend is getting married in June and I am her MOH. Myself and another girl have been friends with Susan since middle school. The other four girls are friends from when she attended Wellesley.

Jessica and I do not have a huge amount of money and decided to do a spa day for the party in our apartment. It started off well, but the other girls did not help at all. One, Megan, actually told me I should do nails for a living that it was a fitting job for me. The four girls just had Jessica and I do there nails, facials, massages and did not offer to help.

Susan was pretty drunk and I do not think she noticed. We did not want to make a scene, but it was hard given that I was giving massages and taking drink orders all night. Now Megan has mentioned having Jessica and I do this the day of the wedding. I think she is jealous that she is not MOH, but I do not know what to do. Susan seemed genuinely excited by it, but I am not sure I can massage feet and do nails again.

My husband and I married 2 months ago in the Caribbean just the 2 of us. Now I have held off planning a reception. Is it too late to hold a reception? Also I would like to have a renewal of vows ceremony since our family was not there. My husband says that is acting like we never got married in the first place. Any advice?

i have a persian cat thats 7 months old. although i know he's still gonna grow, is it true that once persians are one they usually dont get any bigger or is this false. im thinking of getting nother cat but im just worried that in 5 yrs from now ill have 2 big cats(when there big there not cute) sorry to say it but its true. at what age approximately will my cat stop growing and remain his size. and are persians naturally smaller than average cats.????

So I am in a wedding coming up in May and was wondering if I should complain to the bride about the accessories to the dress. Here is the dress:

She has us wearing the Hyacinth color. The shoes look a little different but they are open toed. The big problem is that she wants us to wear white pantyhose with the dress. I just worry about that color combination, the discomfort of pantyhoses and having to wear open toed shoes.

I know she is the boss and she has everything picked out but I was wondering what I can do. Any suggestions? Should I pick a different color?

My bf (soon to be fiance) has a younger sister who is already engaged and planning on getting married in fall of 2008 (no specific date yet). My bf and I were thinking of getting married in spring of 2008. Since his sister got engaged before us, is it ok to get married before them, particularly in the same calendar year? My fiance and i are getting married this September and we have decided to dedicate our ceremony to those that couldn't be there to see us marry (deceased), especially our grandparents. His grandparents on his mothers side are the only ones still living. We have a few ideas but want to see if anyone out there has another. Currently we have asked the Pastor to say a prayer for them, we will have 2 candles up front and he will ask my dad to light and candle in honor of his parents and the same for my fiance's dad. The pastor will say their names and then add a note to all other friends and family that have died over the years. We are looking for any and all ideas, if anyone out there has done something similar maybe. The pastor said he has never seen or heard of anything like this but loves our special touch to our special day. Thank you in advance to all answers!!!!
