I am having my reception at an American Legion. My bridesmaids are going to be in the color apple as well as my maid of honor just a different dress. My dress will be white. I have had two kids with the man I am marrying. I can't go way over board, but I want it to be elegant and something that our families will remember forever. Any suggestions are great.

I would go to a local Goodwill, or antique store/second hand store and find champagne glasses. You can get a case for like $15. Then fill then with M & M's (you can buy custom colored M & Ms online) and then buy balloons to tie to the glasses, it's an inexpensive decoration for your tables.

Try going to www.brides.com or www.theknot.com for ideas. Also you can go to google.com and click on the images button. I typed in rose centerpieces, tulip centerpieces for reception.....for example. it will show you all the images that it comes up with.

I was able to find a large votive (3" x 3") for my main decoration at my reception at a dollar store for $1.00. I am putting 2 rose buds with water in the votives. I love dollar stores, you can find some cheap things that work nice. The most expensive thing are the flowers, but you can find those at places like Flowerama or your local florist for cheep.

eBay baby! I found great wedding decorations for very little money, such as tulle, gift bags, silk flowers, and ribbon. If you haven't shopped on eBay before, it's not that hard. But make sure you check the ratings on the seller, and never purchase from a seller with less than 500 ratings.

I wouldn't do the personalized M&Ms suggestion, because they are pretty pricey. Anyways, I would recommend renting linen tablecloths. Then, I would just do a simple centerpiece. I have numerous pictures of centerpieces, because I am planning my wedding right now on a very tight budget. I can email the pics to you, but since you don't have it set up to allow people to email you, you can email me first (goaliegirl87@yahoo.com).
