I need to come up with a small gift for my sister's wedding shower this weekend. I am planning to give her a more expensive one later, and nearer to the wedding. Right now, I just wnat to give her something small and personalised. I am thinking of putting together a small folder/booklet of favourite recipes she's always asked of me, household tips, etc. I just need some inspiration and ideas now on how to string it up together, what kind of material to use, etc.. I need technical craft advice!!

We have booked a male stripper for my bachelorette party. On the invitations I want to mention something warning guests that there will be a stripper so they aren't shocked or whatever, What is a cute clever way of wording the invitations?

I am getting married to a wonderful man this summer. The only problem is that we are both still in college and as such are broke college students. I want a nice, elegant wedding dress for that special day, but I don't know what relative price ranges are or where I could go to find one within a college student's budget. Can anyone point me in a good direction?

So, I announced to my mother about a week ago that my guy and I are engaged. Since then, she has been calling me about 5 times a day, sending me many emails, and trying to make bridal decisions for me. She has even tried telling me who my bridesmaids should be and where I should have my wedding. She has said she will be contributing some money towards the wedding, but has not given us an amount or what she plans on paying for. At this point we plan on paying for it ourselves. How can I tell my mother to back off a little? I understand she's excited and just wants to help, but this is getting a little ridiculous...

I would like my flowers and the flowers for the bridesmaids to stand out and look beautiful. I just don't know what colors would look good and go with green. It would be almost like a sage or similar kind of green color. I kind of think that just white would be best but I would rather have colorful flowers.

My bestfriend is getting married and asked me to be her maid of honor, of course I said yes. But I have so much jealousy towards her because I just lost my fiance of 3 years. I can't bare to tell her the truth but I almost can't stand doing things with her because all I can think about is that she is getting married and I'm not! I know this is so high school but I feel crazy and don't know what to do?!?! HELP!

Looks like we will be serving alcohol and cake, but might have our reception at a park. Do you have any menu ideas? We will buy everything at Sam's Club.

I found a great spot that has overnight accomadations, and we would have access to the whole facility for the weekend, my concern is the distance for my guests. I know it would be at least a 30 minute drive for most.
