We would like to keep our line small, but we have a lot of people who might feel left out if we don't include them. What should we do to make everyone feel part of it?

you can delegate tasks out to these various others to help them feel included in doing their part for the day
such things as - flower arranging
music
readings
ushering (more than just keeping people 'ush during the service)
catering
car park attendance
doing the brides hair/makeup
similar with bridesmaids
car arrangements
travel/hospitality arrangements for long distance guests
hymn sheets
printing order of service/invitations/thank you notes
the list can go on and on but i hope this helps

Instead of having it catered, have everyong bring their favorite dish, this way the food will be free, and you will have a big variety of food to choose from, but be sure to let everyone know the number of people that are coming so they can plan accordingly. Also, another good idea is to have disposable cameras at each table, and they can take pictures for you during the reception so you don't have to worry about missing out on some pictures from your photographer. If you are doing the decorations yourself, or need extra help with certain projects, you can ask them to help out. Also, the bride and groom both will need someone to make sure that they everything they need before, during and after the ceremony. Offer a "special thanks to..." in your program. You can also get them a small token to say thanks as well. Congrats!!

why are you worried about them..its your wedding day. Do not go overboard because someone is going to say..Oh gee..why not me...Its your day
