..My fiancees ex(whom we are both still friends with) pretty much assumes she is in the wedding which,..the way i have it planned out..SHES NOT. I have 3 bridesmaids and they are my closest of friends. She just basically 'puts' herself in the wedding when we talk about it. Like...Oh, i dont care who im matched up with to walk with the groomsmen down the aisle...Well shes not and i have never really been one for letting people down and im not sure how to break it to her. or should i basically let her figure it out. (me and her have had about 3 arguements before,..about stupid shi.t and...i really dont find her as much of a friend as she thinks of me).,....i dont know what to do!!!

It's a strapless A-line, with a side split, but they all are poofy with trains. I definitely do not want a train, and would like to remove some layers.

Is this possible? Alterations cost a fortune?

I've looked at destination wedding gowns, but they seem to simple to me. It's only going to be me and my fiance at the wedding, then a small informal reception outdoors when we return a few months later. I'd like to wear it to that too.

He hasn't popped the question yet though, but we know we are going to get married in 2009. Should I even be looking into wedding planning yet? Is it ever too soon to start planning my dream wedding?

This is NOT a complaint.
Wife: I need tea, fast food, fried food, tasty food, food of choice. Husband: OK. buy, cook, eat, enjoy, marry.
Husband: I like lassi, healthy, seasonal, simple, taaza, food of my choice. Wife: No. you have no right to express. I eat ALL. You give me trouble. I can NOT cook for all. Eat what is given/offered. I never give her trouble. I simply express my need. I never ask her to eat of my choice. Manchaha khao aur manchaha khane do.
What is husband: Begger/ Financer/Fool/ Lover? I can earn more if she give me food of choice. When she is ill or in trouble, I always eat whatever is given. But when she is alright, she is not in a mood to understand my need. She ask everyone-child, damad, guest, mother, neighbourer-What will you eat? but she never ask same question to me. She tells a lot (100). I hear all. If I tell only 10, she refuse. I am NOT bad. She has fulll right to eat as per her taste. I have the same right or not? Her relatives to me:Adjust

Getting married in September on a VERY tight budget. Need to find a SoCal location (L.A. County area) where we can fit about 250 guests for catered In-n-Out burgers, drinks and dancing. Does anyone out there know of a place (not VFW, please) where we can do this on a VERY tight budget? Or any other cool, fun ideas? Thanks!

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a song for me to walk to in my wedding besides the bridal march. I really can't stand that song, but I can't think of a good one to put in it's place. It can be instrumental or have words. I also don't care what era it is from. I would prefer for it to have a love theme. Thanks to everyone for your help.

The layout of my church is different...in 3 sections with a short isle. Any ideas to prolong the walk down the isle without it being lame?

I know a guy not real well. But I would like to ask him to go to a wedding with me, so basically, I would drive, and of course there would be dinner and cake there so basically he wouldn't have to pay for anything. I have no one else to ask. In case he says no, can I pay him to go with me, and if so how much?

My parents been divorced since I was a little girl. My stepfather has been a loving parent. My biological father has played a major role in my life too. I solved one dilemma, which had me worried for days. I wasn't sure about the father/daughter dance, then I figured I'll switch daddy's in between one song. However, I have a bigger issue now, which daddy will walk his daughter down the aisle? I can't pick one over the other. I don't want to hurt any of their feelings.

They had the groomsmen put paper bags on their heads and we having them dancing infront of everybody at the wedding. One by one they went to the groomsmen except for one to let them take off the bag...the end result is to have one person out there with a paper bag dancing by himself and not knowing he is by himself. We played a similar game at my wedding only we told the bridal party we were teaching them the hula and had them blindfolded and they had leis on with the end result with one perso dancing by themselves...but with the paper bag...how to do you get the groomsmen to do it without thinking its a trick? We thought this would be a fun game to play on one of my brother's (the groom) friends who is in the wedding party!

When I propose to my girlfriend, should I have just the one ring for her, or do I need to have both of our rings? If not, when do I get the ring for me?

Is an engagement ring different than a wedding ring?

Any other logistical matters you can tell me about? :)
