I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a song for me to walk to in my wedding besides the bridal march. I really can't stand that song, but I can't think of a good one to put in it's place. It can be instrumental or have words. I also don't care what era it is from. I would prefer for it to have a love theme. Thanks to everyone for your help.

I picked a Bach piece that fit the theme of my Southern plantation wedding - sorry, can't remember the name. But what I did was to get out all my classical CDs and listen to them - I had a couple of box sets of major composers. Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart are very good. Spend some time listening to a lot of different things - it will lower your blood pressure and increase your culture quotient. Good Luck!

The Canon (in D I think) by Pachelbel is beautiful.
Know what you mean: I can't stand the Wedding March either!!

A friend of mine walked down the aisle to U2's It's a Beautiful Day. It was very romantic, sweet and unique.

I got married in July, and I walked down to Canon in D. If you have violinists as well as a pianist, it is absolutely beautiful. I still get teary when I hear it!

Agincourt Hymn is a strong and beautiful tune... we used it at the suggestion of our organist -- it is still one of the things people talk about our wedding over thirty years ago.

hi! personally i love the song "For all of my life" , by MYMP. it is a filipino artist BUT dont know the original singer. that will be my bridal march. try to listen to the song...m sure u will love it. congratulations!

bittersweet symphony you can get the one with words or with out the words from the vere an i cant think of who has it but its also instremental by another band
