Getting married in September on a VERY tight budget. Need to find a SoCal location (L.A. County area) where we can fit about 250 guests for catered In-n-Out burgers, drinks and dancing. Does anyone out there know of a place (not VFW, please) where we can do this on a VERY tight budget? Or any other cool, fun ideas? Thanks!

What's wrong with In & Out Burgers? If that's what you want, serve it. The burgers sound like fun actually. It's no one else's business or place to judge what you decide.

I have been told that the Santa Monica Masonic Temple, Pasadena Masonic Temple and Los Angeles River Gardens are the cheapest locations that you'll find.

Just get a catered lunch in a Hyatt Huntington Beach and the room should be free. Pick the cheapest lunch you can find. Also, get a block of 12 rooms but don't gurantee it for your guests who want to stay in. That should help lower your catering cost.

How about blocking that burger place on the HB Pier. September is after summer and not crowded, that could be pretty low cost.
