They had the groomsmen put paper bags on their heads and we having them dancing infront of everybody at the wedding. One by one they went to the groomsmen except for one to let them take off the bag...the end result is to have one person out there with a paper bag dancing by himself and not knowing he is by himself. We played a similar game at my wedding only we told the bridal party we were teaching them the hula and had them blindfolded and they had leis on with the end result with one perso dancing by themselves...but with the paper bag...how to do you get the groomsmen to do it without thinking its a trick? We thought this would be a fun game to play on one of my brother's (the groom) friends who is in the wedding party!

It would be worth having another reception JUST to play this prank!!! I LOVE IT!! I have been trying to figure out a story and I can't. I am soooo sorry. Good Luck finding it.

At my friends wedding, when it was time for the groom to take off the garter, he came out in flippers, snorkel, and mask for the event........ the bride has an awesome sense of humor and the whole place roared... no harm done.

At my 1st wedding, our best man made an announcement that now that we were married, my husband would have to give up his "secret apartment" and would anyone with a spare key please come forward and surrender it. We ended up with 73 keys on the head table and I had streams of tears down my face I was laughing so hard... lol

OK, this was on America's Funniest Home Videos, which is known for people sending in videos of family members generally making fools of themselves....and you want to do this at your wedding? Whatever trips your trigger, I guess.

Sounds like you've figured it out. You'd probably have to let all in on the joke except the one your tricking, and tell them that you'll tap them on the shoulder when they can remove the blindfold. Personally, I think it's tacky, even if you do have a good relationship with the groomsmen. Playing a joke on someone who's probably gone to alot of effort for you on your wedding day is just not my idea of something classy to do.

It sounds like something that could be a lot of fun if done right.

I think what the others are trying to say is that some people would resent being singled out like that. If you're sure the groomsmen are all good sports and would handle it well, then go ahead and have a blast.

I'm sorry I don't know the game you're referring to, but I would suggest Googling wedding games.

I saw the same clip and thought it was great. I can think of a dozen friends and family members who would think it's a riot.

Tell 'em they have to wear the bags so they don't see the others' moves and who is voting for who.
Good luck with it!!

Do you really think signaling someone out and ridiculing them in front of family and friends is a good way to start out a marriage?
