Wedding is in September 2007. It would probably be an 6 hour gig.

Would it be unbearable to sit in non-airconditioned car for 30 mins in 82+ (28C) degree heat in big multi-layered wedding dress?

I've found the car I want but it has no airconditioning. Other companies with similar car don't have it either. My wedding is coming up soon and it is summer here in Australia.

What should I do? Give up my dream car and get another? or go with it and hope for the best that it's not too hot!

I am undecided as what to do.... Destination wedding with few very close family and friends (like 20 people) or Local Wedding with like 200 people??? Pro's and Con's, experiences would help.

Hi ya,
My friend is getting married in september and im chief bridesmaid so my duty is to organise the hen night. Im a bit stuck for ideas, she is a strict Christian so strippers and booze are out of the question. She is not really interested in pubs or clubs, i was thinking maybe a pamparing night, like getting a mobile beautician in or doing a 'bridal shower'. What do you think?

We live in luton so any one local with knowledge of the area for good hotels where maybe 20 of us could all atay or make use of facilites ie health club would be good.

Thanks in advance

Would like this as daughter's wedding near Burn's Birthplace. Toast either to the bride or bride and groom.

My husbands Aunt and Uncle came to our wedding and I don't think they gave us a gift and there is no card. We have to sets of guests like this they both traveled far and I think this is more than enough of a gift but, I don't want to offend anyone if there was a gift that may have disapeared or if they didn't give a gift. I would like to thank them as I know they made the time for us but, don't know how to word it.Please answer fast as I'm not sure what the correct amount of time is to get out thankyou's and I have handmade each one to make it special and don't want to fall into the rude category.

I am going to vegas for honeymoon so have thought a vegas theme for the wedding reception would be good idea? Is it? I thought i could have tables named after vegas hotels and vegas themed favours. Any one got other novelty/fun ideas to bring the theme into the day. Not decoration ideas cos my colours decided ages ago are mint green and cream. Thanks

I am planning on getting married June 2008. I went to look at dresses to day with my maid of honor and the lady at the store said it was too soon to be picking dresses and colors. But I know for sure I want the colors I have picked out and am in love with the dresses. Was she right or am I correct in starting early. I have issues with putting off things i am looking forward too for any amount of time and am already stressing over the planning. Any NICE advice would be appreciated.

She may or may not pull it off. What do you think about taking this risk. (Have someone 2 and a half in mind)

My high school sweetheart and I have reunited. He popped the question December 25, 2006. We're looking at August 25th or sometime in September, but I don't know where to start. Is blue, black, and silver good colors for those months?

First My sister gt mad because I picked my best friend and maid of honor.
Second issue of many I chose a date that my parents didnt like and got chewed out because they had a trip scheduled that I knew nothing about.
Third changed the date and now its on mothers day got a lil flak for that one too but now I cant change the date cause its paid for non refundable.
Forth the bridesmaids cant seem to pick a darn gown, i picked one and they went up in arms ... but now when i tell them to pick one and they still cant decide.. they have even changed MY wedding colors.
Fifth I just had a blowing up at all the bridesmaids n told them you either come or you dont because im having a vegas wedding and asking people if they want to come to the dinner (other then parents or the wedding party) you will have to pay a small fee $25 per person to join the dinner... my maid of honor was mad that her mother had to pay... am i wrong or should i just give up and runaway... :(

I have seen loads of nice things for women ie candles and compact mirrors but can give them to men! My budget is up to $3/ GBP 2.50 per person so rules out whisky miniatures unfortunately unless anyone know where i can get them for that? Already thought lof lottery tickets but want other ideas.
Wish is was still the norm to give favours to women only!

Just a curiosity question...is there some type "rule" as to which ring goes on first? I've seen some ladies with their engagement ring then their wedding band and vice versa. Does it really matter?
