Have you asked the bridesmaids what favours they can offer. Potentially no cost to you.

honestly... I wouldnt and didnt worry about catering to each guest or their gender. Keep that in mind as you plan things like the seating, music, food, etc... You cant and wont please everyone. This day is about you and the one you love.
We had champagne glasses with bagged candy in them so that they used the glass for the champagne toast and had a little sweet treat to eat when they wanted. They also got to take the glass home.
In addition, because we planned every little detail and picked each of the main songs, we gave out "soundtracks" on CD's of the music used in the wedding. We picked some cool stuff so it wasnt all "wedding music".
Also, keep in mind that as much as you want to believe that everyone will keep all the little keepsakes from your wedding, most people (especially men) will end up throwing them away within a month or two.
If this is for the wedding part and you need stuff for the groomsmen. Well... here is what I did. It felt a little weird to give my guys this stuff but I got them stuff that they could hopefully use. They all got leather style toilery kits from a discount type store with a few free samples of cologne from the mall (just ask"m, they'll give you a few), somebody wash and a very cool looking $15 US watch to wear in the wedding if they wanted. Now the best man got all the same stuff but I also gave him a shotglass set that came in a really nice wooden box with his initials engraved on small silver peices on the front.

Wedding favors are for the guests male or female.. How ever you make them or buy them it doesn't matter. I haven't heard to much of favors for men and then separate one for women.. Unless you are talking about wedding Party girts... Which I'm sure u are not. Just get something that isn't to girly.. Men don't usually take a favor anyway.. it's more fun for the women to remember the day and couple by. Good luck and best Wishes!

do charity pins
make a donation to a charity and then put the little pins on cards telling them a donation was made on their behalf
to be honest they dont really care about the favours and this way at least the money goes to a good cause!

Iassume you are referring to guest and not bridal party as guy above implied. What about a truffle? Most men love chocolate. you can even do an alcohol flavored. you can even do that for women too, so you do not need to buy two different things?

Candy of some sort, money clips, CDs. It is still acceptable to get one favor per couple, but then that leaves out any single guests. In lieu of favors you could do donations possibly.

just scatter foil wrapped sweets of the little packets of love hearts on the tables. Makes the tables look interesting and everyone is happy. It also leaves more money for the honeymoon!!

Is this for the groomsmen? or wedding guests? Wedding guests make it a universal gift. if guys don't like their dates can have it
Groomsmen - how about a flask with their names engraved on it. or a lighter if they smoke, money clip. these are standards.
