Weddings - November 2006

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years in January. I am 23 years old, he is almost 25. We have lived together for 2 years. I am ready to get married!! I dont necessarily have to be married, but I want to be engaged. I know that he wants this to. The problem is he can't afford a ring. We've looked at rings so he knows now how much they cost. He doesnt have a savings account and he basically lives pay check to pay check. What am I going to do????

I only have 1 sister. She is going to get married in dec. of 2007. We are in Canada and her fiancee lives in New York but he is from Africa. He wants to get married in Africa and she has agreed. I'm dissapointed cause she is my only sibling and I want to be there at her wedding but being thats its going to be in Africa there is no way I can afford to attend. I would love for her to get married here in Canada or atleast somewhere reasonable that would make it possible for me to attend.

I have 6-7 bridesmaids that all of a sudded come up with these unforseen expences and now cant seem to afford their dress. they have to be paid for b4 ordering them and they have to be ordered b4 the middle of this month and I cant afford to pay for theirs on top of my 1,300 dress. HELP how do i solve this problem easily and without making people mad!!! the dresses are 150.00 a piece and they are from davids bridal... .I havent had any luck finding them anywhere else!!!

there's this guy i know but not really as friend, we used to work together on the same company but different department. he came one day for official reason and asked things. i told him been stressed out with work plus home plus the wedding plans plus the expenses etc etc etc..to cut it short, he offered to buy me my wedding gown, as a wedding present, any way i like it. he even called my fiance right there and then to ask if its okei. my fiance, caught unprepared said yes. when he left, my fiance said that he doesn't want the idea.
i've said yes and he had said yes to the wedding-gown-as-wedding-gift-guy, the idea would help us minimize our budget,
but how am i supposed to turn down his offer.
