The saturday after Thanksgiving, we are going down to Alabama to attend my boyfriends' cousin's wedding. It's 4:00pm in her mother's backyard garden. I have no idea what to wear to this. I was thinking of a deep red dress with a black sash around the middle but would that work? What are some colors to consider?

Colors really don't matter that much although traditionally people wear more spring-like colors. Be a bit more conservative in selecting a dress, nothing flashy or revealing. This is the Bride's day, so remember that she should stand out and not you.

The dress sounds great, but take into consideration the weather.... you don't want to be the only person there with a strapless red dress and high heels when everyone else is wearing their pastel dresses with their cardigns over. Have you ever met his family out there??? You def want to make a great first impression and I personally LOVE the red idea, it looks great on girls and makes a real statment. But try to find out the weather out there, so you don't stand out like a sore thumb....other than that good luck its going to be fun.
