I was wondering if maybe I can help you out. I don't know if you have assigned someone to make your wedding dress already, but I thought I would let you know that I have an online bridal shop for custom made wedding dresses that I have just opened (www.ifthedressfits.com). I can make you this dress in the fabrics you want, you don't have to find me the fabrics :)
I am based in Alberta, Canada and I can ship to the UK no problem.
Did you already get a price quote for making this dress? I can give you a very good price for this dress.
Please let me know if you are interested!
I look forward to hearing from you!
You can email me to info@ifthedressfits.com
and you can also IM me if you want ( ifthedressfits@yahoo.ca
Thanks! Hope I can help :)

Surely one of the Bridal Shops in London will be able to help you. Have a look in the yellow pages under the bridal and or material shop section and start phoning! Print a copy of the pic. (cut it out so no-one can see where ya got it!!) and take it around to the material / bridal shops and get advice! Good luck. That's dress is beautiful. You are gonna have sore feet searching, but it WILL be worth it. You are gonna look like a princess - You go girl!

When I 1st read this Q, I thought 'oh no not lace on a wedding dress' as this normally looks horrible, but I just went to your link and that dress is fab!!
Unfortunately I am from Liverpool so I can't answer your Q properly but surely if you search for this particular lace on the net you will find stockists.........
Dress is gorgeous tho!

The fabric over the dress in your picture actually looks more like it is an embroidered, beaded organza type fabric. luckily for you, Joann Fabrics stores depending on the location(there are 3 stores near me and they all have different selections) have exactly that type of fabric! it just might take a bit of hunting around fabric stores, but i'm sure you'll find it!

do a google search for - fabric shops london
I just did & there are quite a lot - with some dealing in bridal fabrics
here a couple of them
http://www.london.net/shopping/index.shtml
http://www.touchlocal.com/business/search/typeId/744/type/Fabric+Shops
also look at embroidered organza - it is a bit stiffer than lace but will still work for your style
GOOD LUCK

your dress maker should have contacts if they are any good!
my dress was a maggie sottero, it was called dion, web site doesn't do it justice, it looked gorgeous, i had a jacket made with a feather trim around the edge, i got the trim from the internet. i think it came from america. i googled it, just put 'feathers' in and found the websites. perhaps you could do the same.
good luck.
