I watch my nephew for my brother. We had a conversation about his bride to be and some of the things that I did not agree with. Well, I no longer watch my nephew, my brother and I are no longer talking. This happened two weeks ago. He is now acting like nothing ever happened. I am not the type to forgive and forget that quick. Not only did he screw me out of seeing my nephew, he screwed me out of $100 every week. Do I let this go, suck it up and go to the wedding or say F*** it and not go? My three kids were going to be it the wedding also. Do I still allow them to be?

Does anyone have any idea How I can get friends and family to participate in making purchase/s for some items for my daughter's quinceanera. I was thinking to print out a letter and offering them choices of things that we are in the need of help with & they can basically volunter for what they would like to do... But How would I go about writting the letter? Any Ideas?

My girlfiend and I went to a pawn shop the other day to look at CD's. When we got there, instead of going over to the CD's, she went right to the case with the wedding bands. We've been going out for 7 months and we don't have any plans to get married. We have joked around about it a few times but all in fun. She even says that I'm a lot more involved than her in our relationship. She even told me her ring size after we left the store. Does this mean anything or am I reading this all wrong?

I met my fiance through a friend of mine. However, I wouldn't say she is a super close friend (let's call her Kate). I then met another person through work and we are now very close friends (let's call her Jane). Kate has expressed feeling left out that I am such good friends with Jane. I want Jane in my wedding party and not Kate. What do I do? Is there something else I can do to make Kate not feel hurt? I need advice! Thanks!

Ive been friends with someone for 12 years, the first 6 we were good friends, then the next 5 not at all, then she recently moved next door to me, and for the past 6 months we talked quite a bit. Could I ask her to be one of my bridesmaids, even though she didnt ask me to be hers and she got married a couple of months ago? Do you think she would be glad to do it? She was excited when I told her I was getting married and she is really crafty so I want her in it.

My brother just informed me yesterday that my son is going to be the ring bearer at his wedding on the 19 of this month, and my husband is a groomsmen. I need a suit fast and cheap. We dont have alot of money to spend right now sence we have to buy the whole family (4 people) clothing for this wedding. He cant buy them, although I think he should sence he just told us this yesterday. We got a nice suit at the DAV for my husband, and couldnt find nething any where for my three yearold. We called about rental, but that is $50, buying is $60. Do any of you know a not so expensive website or something I could go to? Any help would be wonderful.

We got engaged she broke it off and wants to give back the ring. I do not know if I should accept it and keep it in case I would ever need it again, sell it, or let her keep it, in which case she would sell it. It's a 9 stone diamond ring worth 1900$ canadian that I purchased. It is considered bad luck to give it to another? If I sell it to a pawn shop will I be passing on the bad luck to the buyer?

It'll be our 3 year anniversary August 18th. He's 29, I'm 24. I don't necessarily want to get married right now but if he proposed to me, say today, I would definitely say yes. To tell you the truth though, I don't know if it will ever happen. We do live together though so I think that's a good start. I would just like to know how long would you wait until you sat down with your significant other to have "the talk" about getting married? We do say things like "when we get married" and "if we get married" but as far as a serious conversation goes it never gets to that point. I'm a little nervous about bringing it up period because I don't want him to ever feel pressured BUT at the sametime it'd kinda be nice to know that it will adventually happen.

Okay we are having trouble with what to do about a reception. We are marrying on the beach- and cant decide to do a bbq on the beach, or have just appetizers on the beach, or go to apark, and have a caterer- We were going to go to a resturant, but then the guest list got longer- so it is going to be too much$. We want everyone there (only 50 people) and want to be casual and comfortable.Would a bbq be too informal for a weding? we are on a tight budget and getting married this oct.

For my wedding, I would like to have old hollywood glamour sort of theme ( hollywood in the 1930s/40's) . For colors, I want to go with black, white, and champangey gold. For flowers, I would like to use simple but elegant cahla lillies, and gardenias floating in bowls with tealights at the reception. The bridesmaids gowns would be black, strapless and satin for my own gown I was thinking something very simple and elegant like this:http://a1000.g.akamaitech.net/f/1000/806/12h/images.theknot.com/GownDesigners/augustajones/knagjns06jolim.jpg

My question now is what do you think, could you offer any suggestions, where should the location be? I would like to have a formal sit down dinner, and have the wedding outdoors in the late afternoon/early evening. I live in the SF Bay Area with in driving distance of San Francisco and Napa

I'm getting married next spring and am looking for tips on how to have a small, elegant and inexpensive wedding. We will probably marry at my old college...the setting is exquisite. We might skip the cake and my dress is going to be a bridesmaid dress instead of a big cupcake of a wedding dress. Any other suggestions? Thanks!!

My husband is a disc jockey (has been for over 20 years) and I will be attending a bridal show (as a vendor) with my husband for the first time. I was just wondering what brides and grooms are looking for when they attend a bridal show. Should I give all of the info. at once or are they overwhelmed by all of the other vendors?

I know that weddings are a very important day and there are A LOT of decisions to make. I just want to make it less stressful for them. I don't want to come across as a sales person, because that's not who I/we am/are.

Any suggestions on how to make the bride and grooms bridal show experience eventful and one where they wont forget my business?
