Virginity is of the soul, not the body. It's not like you had sex with the speculum. You had a pap for a medical reason. It is not even worth mentioning to your husband. You can tell him you had a medical issue and that you had to be examined. You didn't have sex, you are still a virgin. Besides, your first experience will be much more pleasant because you won't tear then. Stop worrying. God knows your heart.

No way..... Im a medical Assistant and young girls and their mothers always ask that question. Having a pap smear does not devirginize you. You have to be penetrated with a penis or a toy. Dont wory about it. Your still a virgin.... Get married in peace. Let him know and feel proud that he is the only one youve tried.... More power to all the VIRGINS

You can't lose your virginity to a medical procedure. You can, however, have your hymen broken--it's usually more than a dot of blood though. Ask your doctor if your hymen broke during the appointment. He or she can tell if it is still in place. (Some girls break their hymen doing sports or strenuous exercise.)

Talk to your fiancee about your "fears." He should be able to handle this information. If you are too afraid to talk to him, you aren't quite ready to be married yet. You must find the courage to have adult conversations. This will be very important once you are married.

You are referring to the breaking of the hymen, which is a bit of skin in the vagina that bleeds when it is broken. You can arrive to adulthood without the hymen intact because of non sexual reasons - it can break through other stressors and activities. If your husband does not know this he needs to be educated. Not all women bleed on their wedding night.

So, if it was broken, you still have not lost your virginity. Your virginity is lost when you have sexual intercourse, it does not depend on whether the hymen broke or not.

You are still a virgin until you have had sexual intercourse with a man. Lots of girls break their hymen horse riding, swimming, using tampons or having a smear test. You are still a virgin. Don't worry.

You ARE a virgin IF you haven't had sex.IF your hymen broke, due to a medical reason, your still a virgin.IF your fiance loves you and he's the one, then he should know what is going on in your life, along with any medical procedures that you need or have done.

An torn hymen is not a sign of lost virginity. It can be torn in a variety of ways, usually sports, athletics, etc. If your fiancee doesn't believe you on something this personal, are you sure you want to marry him?

Mine tore during competitive cheerleading in highschool, then the rest of the way in a small procedure I had to have done. I sat my boyfriend down (a while later) in a conversation about some funny (haha) medical stories, I threw it in there. When he got what i was saying we talked about it... i told him the truth (in as vague and "guy" a way as possible, and he was just glad I had been up front with him about it.

Yes you are still a virgin. Someone who isn't a virgin has had a penis inside her vagina.

Not everyone has a noticeable hymen. They can be stretched for several reasons, one of which you mentioned. Women who use tampons also stretch them. You could masturbate by inserting an object into your vagina stretching it, but if it wasn't a penis you are still a virgin.
