Go to any store that sells housewares. Anything from a Walmart to a Kmart, get a set (usually sold in 4's) of plain clear glass shot glasses. Then go into the craft section and get a glass marker any color, but i choose the colors that coordinated with my wedding, and write their name, groomsman or bestman, wedding date. It is very personal because u made it, and cheap. You can also get high ball or other plain glasses if you want a bigger one. Looks just as good. You can have someone with really nice handwriting or even someone who knows caligraphy to write on it if you dont want to. Then to wrap them get a small gift box it will fit in, white looks really nice, and a bow big enough to fit the top of box. Color coordinated with your wedding if you want. Then a simple plain white thank you card and add a personal message to each one. it is great and really personal, and cheap too. I think all in all with glass, card, box and bow i spent about 7.00 a peice, and they loved them.

Something personalized. You could find a picture of you and them, go buy a few frames at like, Ross (even some dollar stores have good frames!) and frame it up for them.

I found a set of really cheap glasses, bought a glass-marker and gave the groomsmen and bridesmaids both glasses that had our names, the date, and their name next to "Groomsman" or "Bridesmaid" - and even that wasn't all. This isn't something everyone can do but I also bought handkerchiefs and hand-embroidered them with their names. It was altogether a really nice, personalized gift for everyone and cost me less than $5.00 per person. Plus the handkerchiefs came in handy on the wedding day (well more for the bridesmaids I think!)

Money clip, business card holder, cufflinks...

I know there are websites out there that have groomsman gifts. Froogle (Google's shopping division) something like "groomsman cufflink" and check out which stores show up.

If you were in Amsterdam, I would recommend Amie and Amelie for 45 euro - bargain

But I guess you're not, so a pocket watch, hip flask or money clip might work

Try checking out The Knot website. They have great ideas. Once you get an idea, you can google it and maybe find it cheaper somewhere else!

How cheap do you want to be? You could get them Visa or AMEX gift certificates. This way, they could buy what they want. Getting something too cheap can be an insult.

Depends on how cheap you want to go. I was in a wedding and got a nice pewter tankard with my initials engraved into it.
