I'm not getting married for another year yet, and i love my girlfriend to bits, but when she has had a few drinks she just not a nice person (75% of the time). We've been together 4 years and i've only realised properly that any time we really fall out is when she drinks. I have made her aware of this but it still hasn't changed her attitude after a few drink. what should I do?

Me and my fiance was suppose to get married on Nov 11, but since I may be pregnant and don't have any insurance we are getting married the 22nd of this month so that his insurance will cover me 100%. Do you think there is anything wrong with that. My parents aren't that happy because they have already planned for the wedding on Nov 11. I am in alaska and the wedding was going to be in Kentucky.

When I perform a formal wedding, I wear a chasuble over a skirt or pants instead of over an Alb.( like priests do) I steer clear of wearing white out of respect for the bride.
For more informal weddings I usually wear a simple dress.
So for your wedding.....
1. What did the officiant wear?
2. Was it their choice or was it at your request?
3. Did you approve? or
4. Wasn't it a big deal to you either way?

I'm getting married next July. I recently moved away from my family. Most of the guests live 6-7 hours away. I think I should send out save the date cards to everyone who lives far away. My Dad (who is paying for the wedding) says I shouldn't waste money on that. Is it necessary to send out "save the date" cards. Would people be more likely to attend if they knew about it far in advance?

My wedding location is going to be VERY VERY cold (think super high altitude). I don't think I'll go the 'traditional' wedding dress route. Any tips on how to stay warm and still look like a blushing bride?

In February my husband and I were married (alone) in a Vegas drive-thru chapel. While it was fun at the time, it upset a lot of people, including myself. I have no regrets really, but I do wish I had traditional wedding photos to look back on. I had started planning a "real" wedding in March but then decided to cancel because my guest list was full of people that I didn't really care about. I still want to have some sort of wedding for family and close friends to attend, but it would have to be something very small and intimate. It is hard to find a venue other than hotels and country clubs. Does anyone have any ideas of where to have one other than some place trashy like a public park? I live in AZ so I don't have a beach or anything. My parents suggested just having a reception but I want the white dress and everything.

my wedding colors are claret and pearl ( claret is a dark color of red). my dress is not white it is pearl. it looks white until you hold something white beside of it then it looks ivory. if you put something ivory next to it, it looks white. it is so hard to match! i have been looking for a flower girl basket and a ring bearer pillow in pearl but can not find any at all! should i just use white or what? help!

I want something kind of unusual, but nothing that would freak out my grandparents. I really like piano music, but I had also thought about the intro to Beauty and the Beast. Is that too cheesy (and does it give the wrong message?)

Well I have a appointment at David's Bridal tommorow and when I told one of my friends she said that if I wanted to save money I should get a dress off of ebay. Supposdly she knows someone that did it, so out of curiosty I looked it up. Alot of the dresses look shady though, I'm wondering has anyone ever actually bought one of these dresses and if so how was your experience?
I think I'm gonna stick to David's Bridal but I'm just curious about this.

I am ordering my wedding dress in about 2 days and I absolutely can't make up my mind about which color to choose. It is definitely between those two (white or ivory).

I have a pretty good tan, so I know either one would look okay. Is there that big of a difference between the two colors?

I know it's up to me and not anyone else, but I seriously don't know which to choose.

???
