I'm sure most jewelry stores in your area will offer no down payment financing, it just will depend on your credit rating.

Going into debt for a piece of jewelry may not be a good way to start a new live together. I went to ebay and found just what I wanted for a small amount of money. You can always buy a better stone and have it set later. I would also consider semi precious stone. Gem quality semi precious stone come in gem quality and are very pretty. I chose an 3.5 emerald cut aquamarine and diamond ring set in a past present and future design. Beautiful.

You really don't need an engagement ring. It is not required for you to have a real engagement. Please don't go into debt for unnecessary expenses. I'm very concerned that you want something you are unable to pay even a down payment for.

Try Crescent Jewelers... I got my rings from them.. you can always exchange them for an upgrade, and not many jewelry stores offer that!
