What if we all took the poorest child in the world and gave him are hearts with all the best love and respect and charity we can. What will that child grow up to do in the name of love? Could this child already exist? Is it possible this child will ever exist? This child would have to know no lies can we as a world do this yet?

Though most married couples are proud and appreciative of the wedding gifts they receive from family and friends but there are some gifts that makes you go Mmmm. Did you receive a gift that you wasn't pleased with? You wanted to give it back to the person but instead kept the gift and wondering what you are going to do with it. I posed this question because we received a wedding gift (picture frame) that was old and looked like it was sitting in someone's attic for quite sometime. The frame (that used to be gold) paint was chipping off and the box that it was placed in looked as if it was sitting in the sun for a while. I was in shock because I would have appreciated a card instead. What about you ladies that received a wedding gift that you didn't like.

I am an up and comming wedding/ event planner in Kentucky. I was wondering what experience you have had with a planner. what did they charge, what did they handle?
If you are a planner, what is a good way to break into the bussiness?

My daughter is getting married and first she wanted a big wedding, but now she just wants a private ceremony at the church with just the family and a reception that evening for family and friends. I am just wanting some input from anyone that has ever done this or anyone who knows of someone who has and how it worked out. Thanks

The most recent wedding I went to the bride fainted! Though we've seen the clips on America's Funniest Videos-not sure who faints more-brides or grooms?! I think it's grooms-not sure-but I've seen brides faint too. Anyone got any personal experiences?

Just curious-thanks

I love my gf? We didn't meet for 2 years due to breakup? she was mentally upset and just said something wrong for her fun with an old guy. I have forgiven her, now i want to back in her life & marr her. I talk to her on phone, try to set meeting but she says she will call me to fix and its been more than month that she didn't respond. It's just me who calls her.

I also sent her greetings and flowers to communicate my feelings to her in june, 06. Now I can't understand how to go with her? She is no where down or up but just struck. Though she knows but no reciprocation of words.

Shall I go more straight and strong in communication to her?
Shaill I say these things on email or phone only?

How do I get clear & initiate communication?

My father passed away when I was little and I am not very close to his brother or anyone on that side of the family..
Both of my grandfathers are gone
I don't have any males that I am close to.
Would it be strange if I walked down the aisle alone?

I have known my girlfriend for 6 months and been going out with her for 2 months. She did an university project with her previous boyfriend 1 year ago. Yesterday she rang her ex-boyfriend to get details of this project. She did not actaully speak to him. Put the phone down before he answered. He walked out on her.

She told me about this. I became really upset. She has spent all of yesterday and today trying to reassure me that she feels nothing for him and that she loves me. Should I believe her?

Did you find it better to go in person an register or do it on-line?
I know it's better to see the quality of certin things... but most stuff you already know. I know the other problem is with on-line is that it might not be offer in the store. Anyone find one to be better then another?? It's just soo easy to do it on-line today and I can do it at work (Yeah, I know I am a bad girl!). For things like china, I am picking them on line but then going to the store later to double check that it's the one I want.

I was checking out possible reception sites here in my town and one of the locations (hotel) offers a free suite for the bride and groom and the next morning a gift room where they can have a gift opening party as long as they host the party at the hotel. I have never heard of a gift opening party, I thought the gifts were shipped to the bride/groom either prior or right after the ceremony or brought over by the person who is taking care of the registry. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about, and what is the correct thing to do with the gifts- like opening them, sending them etc.?

I'm engaged to a man Im planning to marry next June. last weekend, I discovered that he was invited to a party for a "work colleague" who was going away. As he explained he felt "obligated" to go, but he refused to invite me because the truth was that there was going to be adult entertainment and he didnt want me to know. After many messy arguments, and curiosity from my part, I had to convince him not to go...and this has made me think less of his character and moral sense. Im having a hard time trusting him and getting back to normal as we prepare for this "wedding"....

My girl and I have been dating for two years. Last month I proposed. I gave her a big ring, got down on my knees and "popped the question" in front of her family. She said yes and that she truly loved me and couldn't wait for us to marry.

Two days ago she found out that the ring I got her was cubic zirconia and now she won't even speak to me. The last thing she told me was that I was cheap and that she had to rethink my proposal.

She knows that I'm a poor college student. I do the best I can. How can I win her back?
