My caterer has included the price of one 8-person limo in our cost, but they won't all fit! And my fiance's family will be put out if I don't do it "their" way and have everyone and their brother in a limo. I really don't want the added expense of renting another limo. Would it be acceptable to just have the two of us and maybe our parents and that's it??

It depends on the size of your bridal party. I was in a very large wedding where only the bride, groom, maid of honor, and best man rode in the limo - all other bridesmaids, groomsmen, and immediate family went in their own cars.

It really is whatever you want. If you want to have fun in the limo with only your young friends, take just the bridal party. If you're not going to do anything you wouldn't want your folks to see, go ahead and let them ride along.

I would say the Bride and Groom only in most cases. The only exceptions would be for those who want their parents to come or bridal party. But for the most part, they are all heading out the door to the reception and dont want to wait on riding in the limo.

Bridal party only and the parents (a towns car would be nice) of both sides of the family if anyone else wants to ride in a limo, they could rent it their selves

We had two limos. The bridal party rode in one and my husband and I rode in the other one. To answer your question though it depends on the size of the wedding party. I have seen the bride, groom and wedding party but normally it's just the bride and groom if there's only one limo.

It should just be you & your new husband.
A few moments alone before everyone & their brother wants to talk at reception.
How would they get back to their cars after reception? It would be expensive to have limo driver wait around that long. No need - they drive to wedding & they can drive to reception.

Really and truly it is whoever you and your fiance choose to. i would think you would at least want that time for you and him since you will be newlyweds. my husband and i only rode from the church tothe reception. what we did was have the girls park thier cars at the church because they rode with me to the church in the limo.
