I say traditional is best. There are times in life when tradition is there for a reason. I would much prefer to start my marriage the same way most marriages started. That said, if you are physically unable to or you despise tradition, then it is fine to be unconventional.

depends on your intended. if she likes tradition then go with that, but personally i like the idea of facing each other and holding hands-that's how my husband proposed
