Hmmm, I think you should wait til a few days after your birthday. That would still distinguish your birthday from another special day, the day you proposed. I dont like to combine things like that, I think girls tend to like one thing having a special date for itself, especially a proposal.

Depends on your birthday. If you propose the day of then you will always remember your anniversary, but you will never have a birthday. However, it would be romantic and a complete shock if you proposed then. If your birthday is more than a week away, I say go for it now. If it is less than a week, either do it on your birthday or wait a week after.
