Singles & Dating - 29 December 2007

Ok, so I'm a guy (21 yrs old) and this holiday season I've already anticipated that I was going to become lonely and I was going to avoid getting into anything because I know my loneliness would be a driving force. I'm also going to be going to australia in july so I don't want to get into anything right now. But there's this girl I've had some interest in since summer and we've had some convos (mostly online, a few in person). She goes to school in so. cali. I'm also really just trying to get to know her to see if she'd be a good fit for me, so far she seems like a good fit in most areas. The past couple of days I was at a retreat and there was another girl there that I paid a lot of attention to... one of those really captivating personalities and pretty smiles. I just feel like a bit of a emotional rollercoaster... some good advice would help :D.

I'm 18,, there is some guy,, actually my cousin and he loves me.. he is 29 he said that he has been thinking about me since 2 years but he was waiting for me to turn 18.. anyway he is cute and I used to like him but I never thought that I could oneday get married to him or anything, I'm still virgin, saving myself for real love, do you think it's wrong to marry when you're 18? is it wrong to marry someone older with 11 years? how could I be sure that I love him? He's my mom's friend's son and our families are going to vegas together monday. And last time I went to his house for his sister's party I was soo sick so I just sat there saying nothing the whole time. I don't want to feel left out again. With him and his brother and cousins. I've been married to my husband for 12 years, and we have 2 daughters. My husband tends to have wondering eyes at other women quite often. He calls waitresses "hun" in front of me, and the other night, I heard him talking on the phone with a friend about all the "MILF's" (Mom's I'd Like to Fuc-) that he saw the other night when we took our kids to see a movie. It used to really bug me when he did or said these things, but it's gotten to the point where it's just hurtful now. It really hurts my feelings because I've stuck by my husband through A LOT. I would bet waaay more then a lot of women would ever tolerate. I've always been dedicated and forgiving and faithful to him, and I've stayed with him because I love him and my kids adore him, but sometimes he is just so thoughtless!! SOOO.....guys tell me what you think about this and ladies, tell me what you think too. Please no "Just leave the bastard" type comments. We're married with children and that means a lot to me.

My friend w/benefits & I have known each other 2 months. We started talking back at the end of Oct. & started sleeping together in Nov. Well, back in the first part of Nov. I asked him if he had any other fwbs & he said "no, that's why I haven't had sex in almost 2 months." But we haven't discussed "other people" since then. How should I bring it up to ask him if he's had sex w/anyone since he started having sex w/me? We have never used protection. Yes, I know that is a scary thought....please spare a lecture I already know it's stupid & I'm going to do something about it next time. I want to just ask him & if he says he has then I want to tell him that he needs to bring protection next time if there's ever a next time. (either way, whether he has or hasn't I want protection) If I ask him that way though, will he think I'm being weird or anything? I think I have a right to know. If you have any better ideas on how to word it please let me know.

Me and my girlfriend have been together 8 months, and for the last month she has been living with me, because she lost her place and had no where else to go. I'm with her all week, we go out to eat and to the movies, etc. Anyway 3 weeks ago i told her a week in advance that on that saturday I was gonna go out with all my guy friends and she pitch a huge fit. Then this whole week shes been talking about how much fun she is gonna have with her friends this weekend when she goes out, but when i made plans to go out she got mad saying how could i make plans with out her. But the one thing that is really getting on my nerves is she has guy friends that she talks to on the phone but i'm not allowed to talk to girl that i've known since kindergarden, who i'm not sexually attracted to at all.

I've been in relationship with my boss since Sep. and we spend alot of time together, we respect one another at work and after work, and we pretty much enjoy each others company. The problem is not the age difference (20 years difference), but the fact that he was previously involved with the assistant manager at the same job that we're both at and he claims that they are just friends now. They used to live together, but now she moved out. Now, he is moving to another place...get this...he's moving next door to the girl he used to be with (the assistant manager). Yet he assures me things are fine.. I just can't visit him as often.
Does this sound shady? Should I break this off with him?I seem to fall into the same pattern of falling for the cute guy that has a tendency to lie, what are the signs I should look for so that I don't do this again?

From my friend anna I have heard thet he does like me but is really mean to other kids this reminds me of my old bf austin he lied to me about his age he was with other girlshe even lied about hi sname and then to top it of he was screaming the f word at lityle kids!!! I feel somewhat embaressed to post this because it feels like I should be able to handle this on my own. Last night, the man that I am seeing called me drunk and he had been drinking for 2 days straight. He told me how much he loves me and how much he wants it to work between us, etc. (We recently reconciled after a six month breakup.)

Today when he called, I was distant with him and told him I felt uncomfortable with him drinking for 2 days straight and that I had been worried about him. He said not to worry, and that drinking is not a problem for him.

He had to got to work, so we couldn't talk but I am feeling very uncomfortable about this.

I'd just like to hear another take on this.

I am just wondering if what most girls like. dO they prefer a guy who is skinny but not a skeleton and has a six pack or a guy who is a little bigger (not fat) and more intimidating? I am 6'3 and I weigh 170. I have a six pack but I am not exactly a big guy. Im just wondering is all.
