Ash honey........only time will get him off your mind. no matter how many time you try to rhyme and reason with yourself, and "play" act events and arguements, nothing makes the situation any better except for time. Give yourself some alone time, figure out who U are, when u are least expecting it, some awesome guy will come along....rock your world...but I will admit,.....some "frogs" will hop in your path....who knows Ash,.....maybe ur old love will "pop" back in...all grown up. TIME IS THE ANSWER BABE. and boy does TIME SUCK

I left a relationship and took forever to stop questioning what I had done, your head feels like it's going to explode! Even though you know it was the right thing to do the "what if" and "if only" can drive you crazy.

Then a friend gave me a couple of things to help.

Write a list of all the reasons your done with him, as a reminder when you start doubting yourself.

Write a letter to him saying all the things you need to get out, spend a bit of time each day reading over it and changing things so they become closer to how you feel. When your finished you can send it to him, have a burning ceremony , keep it or bin it.

When you think or talk of things speak in a positive way, instead of: "if only he wasn't such a pig" say "he was a pig". This will strengthen your resolve.

Arrange a with a couple of single friends to go out and have a great time... night clubbing, movies, dinner, weekend away. If you don't have any single friends find some, it takes the pressure off being around couples and their problems.

Get the reasons why you've done it straight in your head. Once that's started to help all the socializing and things in your life you enjoy doing will become fun again.

Think about things that you WANT to do from here on out that you couldn't do when you....were in a relationship. Think about "goals" that you want to achieve or new things that you wanted to try, but couldn't. If all else fails, go shopping.

think about what he's done to you, and if you're ready to go through with the break up. when you achieve closure over it you can naturally take your mind off of it.

take long walks, read, go to the movies, develope a
hobby, go to starbucks, come up with many things
to do to to occupy your time and maybe find a
new boyfriend. all of the above would probably help.
good luck.
