It is important to lose it to someone you want to remember or want to have a relationship with, especially for ladies.

i was listening to a radio talk show where a sex therapist was on air talking about virginity and some statistics...many people secretly regret losing the virginity. Alot of them regretted it because of the situation surrounding how they lost it (pressure by boyfriend to have sex and so did it unwillingly, had sex because they got drunk or were on drugs and did not have control over their decision making, or just plain had sex with someone that they had no love relationship with).
You should wait. You have to consider the consequences, unplanned pregnancy, single parenthood -it IS a big deal when you know a possible result is the beginning of a human life. Sex is not just something to do...there is a connection between of soul, emotions, it's the most intimate thing of "you" that you're sharing...after you've given sex, what more is there to give? At that point you have given your "all"...the most private part of you. Some things are best left a mystery to everyone, except the one you most love.

Yes Becky I think it is important to have sex with someone you love. Be cause when you give away your virginity it is gone. There is no going back. And that is the end of innocents. Yes it cam be a big deal, if you do it at the right time. And not a big deal, if you let someone talk you into it. Having sex for the sake of having it, that is not good. You have to be ready. I thin you should wait till you are very sure, there is no amount of time on this.

Most men would advise you to just do it. I guess I'm an exception, but I believe if you wait until you are married or at least until you have been with someone you truly love long enough that it will be worth it. I'm waiting until the right girl comes along, I understand theres a lot of pressure. Imagine being a guy, when all your friends are saying how they got "laid" and it was good. I know however that it will be so much better and meaningful if i wait, however that is a personal choice/opinion.

This question really can't be answered by anyone but yourself. I know I waited until it was with someone that I was in love with however we are not together anymore. Some people see losing their virginity as an emotional, amazing experience that they want to share with someone important to them. That was my situation. I definitely don't recommend having a "one night stand" for your first time. It is completely unemotional and you might never see the person again. Even if you are not actually going out with the person, make sure it is someone who you really care about and who really cares about you. Also, make sure that you are comfortable talking about it because the first time is usually an awkward experience for both people so you want to be as comfortable with the person as possible. I know I was really in love with the guy I lost my virginity to and I wouldn't take it back for anything in the world. Even though we are not together we still love each other and it was an incredible experience for both of us, physically and (more importantly) emotionally.
I hope this helps. It is really up to you to decide. Just make sure you are doing it for the right reasons and because it is something you want. Good luck.

Yes, its a big deal. The love between a man and women is sacred. Adultery is a sin. Repent.
OK done with the religious.
Yea its a sin, but at-lest 3/4 off all people lose their virginity before their married. use a condom, and if a rash occurs see the doctor immediately. Always use a condom, even with birth con-troll it is possible to become pregnant. If you or you gf becomes pregnant, DO NOT ABORT.
If you have an abortion i pry to God that you die for the Murder of a pour defenseless child, who could not even breath yet.
Although if its a mater of life or death, or they know the baby will come out with birth defects, or its insest, then yes abortion is allowed, but if it was nothing more, then the mother being a h***. Then you have no right to kill that baby!!!!

If course sex is extremely important, your allowing your body to be used by another, its one of the most selfless things you can do. You cant just give it to anyone, thats like you walking down the street and letting every guy that passes by rub on your boobs. Girls that are young usually regret having sex mainly because it wasnt what they thought it was, its not jump into woman hood or a fireworks show. eventually it will get there but the first time is pain awkwardness and guilt. but its worth it when there is an emotional connection so I advise you be mentally stable and make sure you love this person.

Well, first of all, you would losing your virginity not loosing it! Second of, age and maturity play a huge factor. If you are very emotional and attach easily, then no.. you should wait. If, you can handle all the fun that comes with it, such as OOps im pregnant, or ut oh, I missed my period. Then you are well on your way. In all honesty, Im only kidding... Its one of the biggest things you will choose as a woman/girl. It will stay with you always, you will know when the time is right. Everyone can tell you what they think, but when it comes down to it. Its all on you hun.. I was 19, I waited and lost mine not out of love, but because I was curious.. at times I wish I had waited, been then again I was glad to ave the experience, gl

My personal opinion is that it's as important as you want it to be. For me it's not that important and the right person was the person that i felt confortable with. I personally do not regret losing it to i guy i didn't really love that much and i'd do it again. (and so that you don't think i'm a 13 year old talking, i lost it when i was 18, and it's wasn't a big deal, really)

it depends on you and your molars
no one can say whether waiting until you marriage, or out of high school is the best thing, or how long you should wait to have sex.
its you choice its your body, and the consequences( good or bad) are yours too.
but if you want my thought so bad this is what i think:
wait at least until you out of school( high school) so you don't have to worry about dropping out because of your child( you can get pregnant even if you use protection less likely but can happen)
and the sex will be much better if it's some one you really care for and want to spend your life with.
people make a big deal because sex can change you life for ever, but giving you STDs or a child you where not ready for and people don't think before they act of what could come form having sex.
studies have shown people who have sex at a young age and/or with some one they don't love the are 10 times more likely to be depressed and/or kill themselves
if you have question or if i confuses you feel free to PM me.

I would say wait til you're 18 ... then you know what the heck you're doing and what you really want. I did it younger than that, but I wouldn't recommend it. It made me so crazy because my heart and my mind hadn't fully matured yet, and I got way, way, way too attached to the guy.
Anyway, he was my bf and I loved him. I also made him wait like a year before we did it. If you ARE in love, still make him wait. When you're young, I'd say a year is a good number. If you stick together that long, it's probably pretty real. Also, be careful! Get on birth control pills and make him use a condom every time.
Good luck!
