You and ex broke up and said you guys would be friends. But neither of you has called the other or made any kind of contact over the last four months after you broke up. You were together for a year, and you're the first woman he's ever been in love with even though he's 36 years old and was still in love with you when you guys broke it off.

We were together twice. First summer, we spent was amazing, but broke up because he got a job in another state. After that we remained friends and he called me after 4 months to say he was in love with me. Second time we broke up, it was because I wasn't sure what I wanted.

Sometimes, most people cannot really be friends with their ex's. I can and have. There are a couple I cannot. I tried, but one wanted me physically when I tried to be friends with him, even calling me up to 4 years after we broke up. He wanted physical stuff from me.
1.Some need time away. I am sure he still thinks about you. After all, you were together over a year.
2. Both have to want the same thing. What was the reason for the breakup? Think why you are ex's.
3. You cannot make someone want you back. You should be no different than who you are right now. You can apologize for your mistakes, as everyone makes them. You can tell him how you feel. Then it is up to him to see if he wants the same thing.

Guys are weird they wait untill your ready to go down the isle with someone new and THEN they show up and go...wait I want you back....its a little late then.
1. No hes not OVER you but hes not doing anything to get you back, same difference. You will spend alot of time alone pondering this question.
2. No, the only time a guy is receptive is if HE is in an I want her back mode, if you try to make up with him he might become a cocky bas tard and tread you awful like your begging him to come back to you and even reject you a few times so that his ego is stroked.
3. You dont. If he cant get up off his a z z to chase you then he is not really going to put very much effort into anything, you can hint that you still like him or send him an email saying that you dont hate him and hope he had a nice holiday but anything more will be too much, let him open the door and go through because he is more than likely going to want to set the pace of your making up. Why did you guys break up is a very important question?
Him not contacting you doesn't mean he's over you, but only that he's surviving... I mean you haven't contacted him, yet you still miss him. Right?
Can you get him back? Well, is he still single? If so, and if the break up wasn't bad then YES.
How... it begins with you making the first move... stop counting how long it's been and start making moves... closed mouths don't get fed. Do you want him? Well go get him!

If he hasn't contacted you in 4 months forget it. If he really wanted to be with you then why isn't he there with you or at least trying. Go find someone who is interested hon. This guy doesn't sound like he's interested.

no matter what first love stays forever in your heart.even tho u say its over u still love them to get him back; play it cool say your over it but the next time u see him ask him why its over what ever the answer is he'll be thinking 'bout u.
