Recently my boyfriend and I broke-up, I was over his house and he said " I don't have the same feelings for you that I once had. " I was so crushed ; I just broke down in tears. He said " I still will like us to be friends. " I just don't know what to do, I want him back but I guess he moved on. What should I do?

You have not mentioned how old you both are & how long you were together? I know what it feels like when the guy you love says those words- I got the "I love you-I'm just not in-love with you anymore" & we were in a 4yr. relationship & engaged to be married. It has only been 2 mths. & I'm pretty devestated. As far as the friend thing-that all depends on how strong a person you are & how deep your feelings for this guy were. I could never be friends with my ex (at least not right now if ever) because just hearing his voice or seeing him right now tears my gut up. If you want him back trying to be friends right now would end up with him using you as a doormat if nothing better is out there. Don't put yourself in that position because it will hurt even more down the road. Maybe if you put distance between you he may realize what he gave up when it isn't there anymore. If not chalk it up as his loss!! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Move on.
He only wants to be friends because he feels sorry for you. The more you try to get him back, the farther away he will go from you. If you think you can be just friends, then talk to him and ask what made him feel different. Don`t get all broken up if he decides to tell you. Just listen and try to change if it was you. If it was him then either stay friends or get over him.

When guy says "let's be friends" it means, "can we have sex when I can't find it somewhere else?". When a girl says "let's be friends" she means "we're never having sex again".
