Okay, so my ex thinks we should try to make things work between us. We both love each other very much. We have been apart for a year, and dated other people, but we both feel that we will never meet anyone that we love as much as we love each other. The problem is, we are bad for each other. We go together like peanut butter and spaghetti. We are what happens when you hold a stick of dynamite to a lighter....KABOOM!!!! But, we love each other, and we want to try to make it work. I am 20 and he is 22. Our families ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT US TOGETHER!!!! They don't even know we started talking to each other again. I don't want to disappoint my family, but I don't want to live my life without my other half either! Is it worth it? Should we try to make things work? I am just worried that any guy I ever get with will always be second best in my heart, and that isn't fair....Please help!!!

I have been with my fiance for about 2 years now and we have a 3 month old son together. When we got together I weighed about 125 or so and now after I've had our son I weigh about 140. So I've put on some weight!! But recently he's been picking around and joking about my weight( Like I'm not already sooo self-concious about my body anyways from the stretch marks and extra fat I'm carrying around) But the joking and hurting my feelings is getting so bad I am just at the point where I want to leave him!! I've already told him about how bad it hurts me but he just won't stop, Please tell me what should I do??

I've known this girl for about a year now. And I asked her if she liked me more than a friend and she said "I don't know its hard, I like you as a friend though", We are just friends, but do you think there is any chance of us being boyfriend/girlfriend, or am I just wasting my time hoping? We have been hanging out a lot recently which is a good sign, but I don't know if she just views me as just another guy friend or boyfriend material. Assuming you're a guy who's wanting to ask a girl out for a one-nighter, do you just go straight ahead and say "Hi" and pop the question?

So, don't you have to act like a gentleman, complement her well enough to make her feel special & make her think you are special too & then make her believe why you really want her, etc.?

I'm just asking because I'm from a different culture & am curious as to how it works here.

i have been dating my boyfriend for almost 10 months now, and we both know that we love each other a lot. however..he has no job and he never does any work for school..but he never has time for me! his parents are super strict, so he does have really shortened curfews on both weekdays and weekends..and he goes to his moms house every other weekend (and she lives a half-hour away). when he does have free time, he spends the bulk of it with his friends. when he spends a few hours with me each WEEK, we only do sexual stuff. we started off as really good friends, but now i feel like im just someone he chooses to see whenever he wants to be pleasured.
we've only been on one date out of these 10 months, and i feel like i do all the work..even calling just to say hello.
what do i do? every time i talk to him, he just mindlessly agrees and doesnt change his behaviors...i dunno anymore.
please help! i dont wanna give up on him but i feel like i need to do SOMETHING!

About 2 years and a half ago I met Danny (My Boyfriend). We really hit it off right away. I really liked him. 4 months after being with him, we decided to move in together (I know too soon). Well anyways, it was wonderful. We decided that we both wanted to have a baby. So we tried for like 5 months and I never became pregnant. We thought we couldn't get pregnant so we forgot about it. But in May, I found out I was pregnant. It was the best news I had ever received in my life. I was 17 back then now i'm 19. Well neways, while i was pregnant, he would go out with his friends a lot. There is a guy that I am interested in and he was in me. He told me that he is not looking for anything so I came to the conclussion that we are just friends wich I am fine with. I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years now and i'm a little concerned about our sex life....

When we first got together we only spent the weekends together, so we would have sex about 3 or 4x's on the weekend. When we got more serious and spent time during the week we had sex a little more than that...

I have mostly been the initiator of sex and as time goes on it seems that we have sex less. We live together for a year now and have sex like every other week... I don't really initiate anymore and he does in the most sublte ways that it doesn't really turn me on to really get into it and we end up having quickies.

We've both gained a weight since we got together and I think that plays a factor although he says he is still attracted to me ...our romance has also declined.

Are we both being lazy and is this normal to go through this in a realtionship? We have a baby on the way now and we don't want it to get worse. Any good advice?

well this guy have been liking me for a really long time but hes a player and he also likes my best friend and he wants to go out with both of us so i said no before. and this year hes still bothering me and he changed for me and i really started to like him. but just when i liked him this other guy i liked 2 years ago was in my class and those feelings cam back but ppl say that he liked this other girl so i went out with the player and things were good but he didnt like it when i talked to guys and he was so protective. and one day i the guy i liked before old me that he liked me 2 years ago the same time when i liked him so later on i wanted to know so i sked him if he still liked me and i told him that i still liked him and he felt the same way i was so happy and the other guy or player wasnt good for me he was just so fake around me and he acted like he was the only guy for me so when i was gonna break up with him he made ascuse of saying that i was cheating on him.

Ive been crushing hard on this boy at my youth group for 2 years, he has had a girlfriend for 1...lately he hasnt been with her but i know they work together and his brother said they spend every waking second together..i want to talk to him..not about this but about like music or something since its something we both enjoy. It has always struck me strange that my husband was with petite, small framed, short women his entire life until he met me. He's a large, tall guy, 6'4 and 240. It's great now that we're married and have kids, but it always makes me wonder in the back of my mind why he preferred that type for so many years and then dated and married me, a tall woman. Any thoughts on this? Does anyone out there think we all have "types" but maybe don't admit it? I always wonder if he'd rather be with a tiny woman like he was before even though we have a great life.
