after the first date how do you tell someone that you are not intersted in going on?

I want to find the right man and I don't want anyone to get hurt while I am seaching for Mr. Right. After a first date the other day I knew he was not right for me... He keeps calling and I have told him I am very busy.... I don't think that is good. Do I just come out and tell him? What should I say?

Just tell him that he is a nice guy but that you personally did not feel a connection.

He will appreciate the honesty even if it stings a little.

When you tell him you are busy that is you playing a game. Stop that. All you are saying to him is "I like you but can't see you right now, maybe later". Is that really what you want to say...no.

Tell him the truth, it hurts a lot less than the games you want to play with men. Just tell him that you don't want to go out with him anymore. Don't worry, he will have forget about you by his next first date.
