He's visualizing in his mind. It's quite common for people to shut their eyes during sex...although to at least occasionally look their partner in the eye increases the intimacy.
Why don't you ask him why he keeps his eyes shut? He can answer the question better than anyone else, about himself.

Kinda hard to tell. Maybe he isn't someone who likes the visual. Altho I don't know why he wouldn't. My eyes may as well have the device from a clockwork orange on them because they are usually only closed when you're kissing.

Just guessing I would say during sex stop and ask right then that way you've caught him in the act and who knows maybe he doesn't even realize that he's even doing it.

either of the two meanings:
1. he doesnt like the surrounding or
2. he is enjoying the act intensely.

He is thinking of someone else, especially if he has it close the whole time. Men like to see facial expressions it makes them come quick...lol if they are sexy expressions. And if he doesn't want you touching his head or face than yeah he is not intrested in you or wishing you are someone else

don't think the worst of him...he could just be concentrating on his work at hand...that cool feeling of whats happening...he could be thinking about someone else but remember...we're just guys and you thinking we're thinking about something else while having sex...nahhhh!!!!!
