generally a nice guy and im pretty sure he is not abusive to her. is it a sign of major league lack of self esteem if he just puts up with that nonsense rather than kicking her to the curb? i wonder if his low self esteem makes him think he doesnt deserve better than that.
is low self esteem most likely the case here?

Whenever I refuse to have sex with my husband he becomes angry at me and won't speak to me. Most times he tries to initiate sex is in the morning when I am trying to get ready for work. He works the night shift and comes home 2 hours before I have to go to work. I have already been reprimanded at work for being late so many times (because he's so pushy about sex that I am late getting to work). It is very hurtful to me that he treats me this way. When he gets sex from me, he is kind to me. When I refuse, he totally turns away from me. I can't take this treatment anymore. He makes me feel like sex is all he wants from me and if I don't give it to him, I'm not worth talking to or spending time with. Do all guys act like this? How do I resolve this problem?

I got divorced this year. My ex-wife and I started dating again. Recently she has started acting the same way she did before and during the divorce. Blaming me for everything. She feels I'm wrong, because I'm not saying or doing things exactly how she expects them. So what do I do? I think I'm still in love with her but I'm not really sure anymore. SUGGESTIONS?

We live in Florida. His judgement was aquired while we married and it was registered in New York. The judgement keeps renewing as we have no intention of paying due to a misunderstanding. How long can they keep doing this? All our assets and home are in both of our names. How could they collect?

My husband and I were invited to an Adult only wedding. My husband said when he found out "well that one will never last" I was shocked that he would make such a statement and demanded he explain. He says out of the 22 weddings we've attended 7 were adult only. And all but one of those 7 have ended in divorce were as the others there has been only about 25% ended in divorce. I see his point, does anyone else see the same trend?

sure it is not an affair- I get insulted one minute and cuddled the next. I get shouted at one minute and then I get told "I love you" the next. I am so confused with this, when I try and talk about it my spouse refuses to admit that this is happening and has never admitted blame for anything that has gone wrong in our relationship- NEVER! Even if it is obvious. I noticed my spouse is irritated with the "little" ways (habits) OF OUR 7 YEAR OLD AS WELL AND MAKES COMMENTS THAT PUTS him down. No matter what I do or say, I will never get my spouse to see or admit these things, NEVER! I am going crazy, I am starting to feel I do not want to go home after work anymore, if it was not for our children (2)- I feel lonely, my spouse has good qualities as well, this also keps me there. I have even thought that my spouse is trying to drive me batty by doing this, or that I am imagining things and I am the batty one. But, our 12 year old daughter is now being effected by this behaviour.

Married 19 years, daughter of 17 . Husband 13 years younger. Marriage always turbulent as his intentions and plans were not made clear and he had aggressive manner. He had control of finances. I had to fight to have control of my earnings and 5 years ago he conceded, but I suspect because he was then earning more. Our relationship went downhill. He accused me of subotaging our family's future by keeping my earnings although I paid half of EVERYTHING. Last year found he was cheating, he said it was because I was not committed to marriage, I did not trust and value him, he left the house 8 months after, bought himself an apartment, said he needs to feel free as he is not the marrying kind, felt suffocated by marriage to me as I have baggage and am not free to go wherever he would like. Now he is back weekends, takes me out, is nice to me, says he wants to change, but wants to but holiday home and house for his mother. The new him is great, but how can I trust him?

As a man whats the right age to marry ? I read a Steve Jobs speech where he said 32 is the right age to marry . He says thats when you really know who you are ...
I believe 30+ is the right age to marry , when did you marry or when are planning to marry ?

PS :I am pissed off with people who marry at 25-27 or earlier , not because they are married but the pressure on me to get married by that age :-)

Cheers

I am married, not very well with my husband, but we have a kid. I think I would be happy with somebody else, in the same situation (married, with a child). We both decided to fight for our famillies and to meet in 15 years when our kids will not need us anymore. do you think it is possible a so long term plan?
