Bottom line point blank. I am sure that you are responsible in some way or form and fashion as to why you have a judgement against you and I don't want to hear all the cry baby stories...they sound like you are in prison, but your innocent.
Pay the damn debt when you can and be through with it. You don't have a problem yet,,, but your gonna!

I would check with a lawyer, but I believe you are NOT protected. I would move the assets to your name only. If you have cash, put it into an annuity, which can't be touched (why do you think OJ lives in FL & has all that money still?).... I live in FL and am an insurance agent, licensed to do annuities.... Good luck! Have you tried to have the judgement revoked?

Ok your married! And his name is also on the house. I would advise you to pay on the judgement because if you want to ever refiance or sell the home that judgement will have to get paid off. Also you don't want them to ever take your home over that judgement.

If your husband has a judgement it means court already took place... you need to be advised that due to being married that his bill is your bill... and they will collect in due time... they can take your taxes, wages earned from work... in order to save yourself lots of troubles send this company a payment of $5.00 a month.

Go to your local courthouse, to the clerks office and file a homestead on your property, it will cover your home equity up to a certain dollar amount, depending where you live, so that it cannot be affected if someone tries to sue you.

They take whatever has his name on it. Your assets are NOT protected. I would suggest you get a lawyer, appeal his judgment, and put everything you own in your name.
