generally a nice guy and im pretty sure he is not abusive to her. is it a sign of major league lack of self esteem if he just puts up with that nonsense rather than kicking her to the curb? i wonder if his low self esteem makes him think he doesnt deserve better than that.
is low self esteem most likely the case here?

Your friend married her for a reason, just cause his wife complains doesn't means she is a bad wife, so don't talk about your friend kicking her to the curb. Be a friend just listen don't say anything or get between them.

Possibly, or maybe she gives great head...I know a couple like that and we can't figure it our either. He may just feel safe, and doesn't want to venture out and start all over again.

i think he is either opening his heart to a friend , or prbably trying to get closer to you by making you think his marriage is not working !!!! either way , just be carefull with your reponses.
