Marriage & Divorce - 24 September 2006

We live in Fl, and after 2 1/2years, mom wants to move to VA, with child, as new hubby (in nov.)will be stationed there next summer! They plan to move back to Fl in 3 years when he retires! 8 year old girl, Born here, raised here, all of family here, maternal, paternal, extended, thru both bonus parents! We have her Mon& Wed til 9pm, and Fri- 6:30 on Sat so we do exercise our time with her weekly, and often more frequently, and pick her up earlier than stated in papers most often! Any similar cases, and opinions appreciated! Do we have a chance?

My girlfriend and I spent our night at a friend's party 4 weeks ago. We were very drunk that night. She told me that her breast hurts and feels nauseated every morning. Is she pregnant? I do not want her to be pregnant. I used a condom though and it is my first time losing my virginity to her and her first time. My ex and I have been talking. He's the father of my children. I'm ok with us being friends but he wants more. He wants to move back in and says if he can't, he never wants to see or talk to me again. I don't want us to be bitter enemies and he wants everything to go his way or no way at all. He thinks we should live together but I do not love him anymore and he says he cannot stand for us to be apart. There are times he will resort to threats and other times he cries. Been w/ husband for 6 yrs
thru out the marriage there has been tension regarding his mom and her control-manipulation of him- the quilt thing, when I have talked to him , he never sees things from my point of view it is always his mom, or lately it is just riding the fence . He refuses to stand up to her or support me even when he acknowledges her actions being disrespectful or just plain hurtful and that I have done nothing wrong, to ensure her feelings never get hurt , he ends up hurting mine. He has said he feels stuck in the middle . This wk she has called crying twice- that she is losing her son and that she thinks because we let his aunt babysit for us one afternoon that our kids like his aunt more than her, she waits for me to go to work and then visits the kids, she is a good grandmotther and hubby is a great dad- but not being supported by husband is hurting, being treated as if I had done something wrong is killing me-It is like she is jealous-talking hasn't worked.

If a couple is married, and the wife tries out for a play where she is required to kiss another man, does that count as cheating? Has she, if the husband isn't comfortable with it, in essence broke the bonds of marriage? This question may seem ridiculous, but really think about it. I was discussing it with my fiancee and the discussion got emotional fast because the both of us strongly disagreed with one another. So I am kind of curious what the world says. A point was brought out about the fact that many ppl cheat on others with "casual sex that doesn't mean anything" and it is still cheating, so how is the other any different. Or is it justified because, after all, it is just theatre? Just curious what ppl think.

My WIFEY is my Life and SOUL MATE and we've been married for over 12 years I've never cheated and honestly it's never been a issue or ever crossed my mind and so many femlaes try to act like this is impossible to have a faithful man these days. I may still be in High School, but I'm planning to get married after I serve in the Navy and finish school. I want a non-religious wedding because I am agnostic. mean you know it's your life, and it's scripted but do you ever feel like you just can't go on doing it? I recently met a guy who had been married three times and I knew the warning bells were going off but I ignored them and when I finally realized it was wrong and I wanted more out of life, he dropped me like a hot potato. My parents are old now. 65ish. Theyve been married since they were 21 yrs old. I thought they were happy but after my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer,things changed. he doesnt have any hormones anymore. my parents are retired and i think my father is too bored at home. we found out theres another woman in his life. he calls her secretly and no longer loves my mom. my mom was very dependant of him. typical traditional asian mom. she always did whatever he says.. she always followed him..cooked and cleaned etc. right now they are sleeping in separate rooms and my father shows signs that he really hates her. my mom doesnt want to divorce because she will have nothing, and at this age, shes too old to be on her own. she doesnt want to tell my brother and sister because they will yell at my dad. im in the middle. im really scared and i dont know what to do. i love both of them very much , im really disappointed in my dad, but he never had any education so thats why.plshelp
