There was a similar question where a woman's SO was accused of murder, and most of the responders thought she should leave him. What should a man do if the genders are reversed?

The reason I'm asking if he should leave her is, most of the women in the other question thought she should leave him (it was the same situation but the genders were reversed). If you believe that he should stand by her, do you beleive that a woman should stand by her husband if the genders are reversed? Do you think the women who answered the other question are wrong?

I think that if there is great doubt that A SPOUSE is guilty yes i believe u should stand by your spouse untill the spouse is proven guilty.. what if u leave and ur wrong????? and the spouse is innocent of the crime.. then u just left the person u devoted ur life to , in good times and in bad.. during probably the hardest times of their life..
theres no One set of rules for wives and another for husbands.. They both made a vow to each other.. and they should stay atleast long enough to know if its true or not..

No responders would sincerely state that a woman should leave the side of a husband who was probably innocent of accusations. What kind of person would be that morally bankrupt? I mean, I'm millions in moral debt and there's no way I'd let someone swing in the proverbial wind like that. Fighting for the innocent is our one true obligation as citizens.

I would have to say it depends how their marriage is otherwise and who she is accused of murdering. For example, if accused of murdering one of their children that would be a tough deal to live with. If, on the other hand, a total stranger is involved and the husband truly believes in his spouse's innocence, of course he should stand by her all the way. You would really have to go inside the head of the man to understand his feelings and his beliefs about his accused wife. Sure, it's possible to live with that kind of accusation. Susan Smith's husband stood by her for 3 days until he learned the truth. (she was the one who drowned her two young boys strapped in the back of the family car). So if he could live with not knowing for that amount of time, then yes it is also possible to live with it until the truth is known.

I didn't see the other question you mentioned, but I don't think the gender should matter.
It's hard for me to imagine having a spouse accused of murder. I think I would probably stay if I thought he was innocent, and leave if I thought he was guilty.

If someone accused my husband of murder I would stand by him. I know if the situation was reversed he would do the same. And if one of us was actually guilty we would move to Mexico and assume new identities. He could make and sell pot holders on the beach, and I'll braid hair. That's how we would make our living.

sure of course it may be worse to be falsely accused of homicide and all of us that asserts different sensible is loopy. whilst a individual is convicted for rape they'll serve much less time than for homicide. A homicide conviction can get you life in penal complex. MRA's are no longer something yet hate communities against women. they have not got the different purpose because adult adult males have all the rights that girls do, plus. they do no longer help all of us. The contributors of MRA communities are bitter adult adult males that could desire to concentration on some thing to convey interest to themselves and make adult adult males look like sufferers so fake rape quotes are a reliable concern.

"likely innocent". If there is any question in your mind as to whether she is innocent then you have no choice but to leave. However, if you believe wholeheartedly that she is innocent, of course stand by her.
If you are in court with her and you think she is "likely innocent" chances are your face could give it away that you don't fully believe her and others, including the jury, could see that.

Dear friend,
Its not the question of man or woman,
its the question of innocence.
it the accused person is innocent and not criminal ( proven or unproven) then both are not supposed to leave instead live
together.

Stand by her.
Why leave an innocent woman to herself to fight all by herself?
