That's a tough one. If she is saying she doesn't want to hurt the friendship she means it. My best guy friend couldn't get that concept and tried so hard to get me to change my mind that I finally stopped talking to him all together. I miss him so much, but I felt he started to overstep the friendship bounderies. If you can't trust your best friend to be just a friend when you need one then how can you move further? You should just let things happen naturally and if you all are meant to be together you will be soon enough. DON'T try rush her into anything.

I took a chance and dated my best friend, but had the same concerns. For us it worked out and we've been together for over nine years and married for over 7 years. He's still my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. Just tell her how you feel. Tell her you'll take things slowly so if it starts to not work out maybe you can go back to being friends. Be prepared to lose a good friend if things go too sour, though. Good luck!

ask urself would she be worth losing ? then ask yourself could she really be that 1 that makes u happy? then ask her how would she feel if u stepped up 2 the plate and be the man that she always wanted in a man , best friend, good listener ,understanding. but more importantly ask her for a kiss and if it feels magical 2 the point of your breath being gone , THEN GO 4 IT >

No kidding, I had that exact situation years back. Best of best friends, I just explained to her that if we couldn't take it to the next level it would hurt too much to be near her. We went to the next level, lots of good sex and good times for about 5 years. It was worth it. If you really care for her, do you want to see her in the arm of another man? Not

You are in the friend zone: there is no escaping it (you would have a better chance as a slice of cheesecake on Oprah's plate). The best thing that you can do is be a challenge and see if that works.

i agree with her, dont ruin the friendship. if you guys really really liked each other, you'd be able to make it work, but if the friendship seems like something she cherishes and doesnt want to ruin, just stay friends...
