Marriage & Divorce - 20 September 2006

I had an arranged marriage,I liked another girl though I married coz my parents liked this girl and wanted me to marry a girl from a standard well to do family. this girl is good but I m also a good human being. We both have a good nature and are appreciated by people around us, but the problem is we don't connect each other mentally, I m talented, ambitious,perfectionist and she is feeble, clumsy and loves being the common person. She also lied to me about her age while getting married for one year (she is actually two years elder to me) and yet when I celebrated her fake birthday ( she gave me a wrong date) with her family they all enjoyed the party at my expense and I didn't even realize that I was being fooled. I myself later from a family friend got her real age, I hate hypocrisy and age was not a problem if she would have told me directly. I m skeptical of this relationship but one step towards divorce will shatter my family,hers and society will have the last laugh. I m stuck.

Okay lots of guys are going to cheat but can't they draw the line somewhere? That is just too mean. I would never tell her but I feel so bad for her. He doesn't even care if other people see what he is doing.

Is it stupid to be unyeildingly patient w/ an emotional an occasionally physically abusive HUSBAND?

We have a son 16 months old
I try my best to avoid confrontation w/ my very moody husband so that I don't show signs of depression or overstress in front of my son. I don't know what to do....I'm a petite woman and my husband is a very big man........I love him w/ all of my heart and have been w/ him for 3 1/2 years. We do have a 4 year age difference, which he takes full advantage of, I feel used and unwanted often, but want my son to grow up happy with both parents. Am I doing wrong?

Please, don't give any malice on this question. I am asking this seriously, as my clitoris is somewhat painful due to his bitings. I already told him to stop eating me out during our lovemaking sessions, though at the very moments when we're mating I can't easily stop him from doing so due to the pleasure I derive from his lickings of that part of my body. Still, I want my clitoris to be back to normal immediately. Is there any cure (like ointments, maybe?) that will heal it fast? Honestly, I'm a bit embarassed to have it checked by a doctor. new relationship, divorced and now happy with someone that I think I trust but he did cheat in his previous marriage. he tells me everything, things I may not want to hear but he says this relationship is worth the world to him and he wants no secrets, I honestly trust him but once a cheater "alwyaws a cheater" ......
what do you think??
im confused i dont want to have the ugly feeling but I believe it may come up on occasion in the future, im just preparing myself!!!

I have just recently got my fiance pregnant and we plan to marry very soon. I just moved out of my parents house shorter than a month ago. I am 19 and the girl I plan to marry is 18. How do I break the news to them about the baby and the marriage without having them freakout. Keep in mind...we have already moved in together (for not that long), I already have the ring, we have a good doctor and medicade to take care of us. Give me your opinions please.

okay me and my husband are 20/21yrs okay at this age I figure we should have a great sex life. she is 28 year old girl virgin. not the most pretty,very shy,doesnt have drive license jet, and never had a boy friend in her life. this is her first one.
And he is a 34 year old ugly fat looser .and is getting divorse right now of his first marriage, he does'nt have any friends, because is a computer geek. he is really boring and and a big time nerd, what hapend is two very similar people get together?
She is my cousin and we are telling her to wait she can find somebody better, but I think she is desperate, because is the first guy interserted on her ,in her life and all her friends are married with kids, and she feels alone.
I also belive that two very diferent people complement eachother.

i was trying to protect my hubby and my mom in law started tellin me that my hubby is a liar and he has anger probelm.im living with him as r paperwork isnt completeed yet.so we r in different countries.she is always tellin me good things about her other son but not about my hubby.also she blamed me for my hubby being lazy( he was supposed to do a part time job and complete his mba).im so hurt.i am always tellin my hubby to find himslef a job.y wud i not want him to do it?i told her that wat she has said hurts and she replied that she really doesnt care.she compares me with her other son's wife.no matter wat i do its never appreciated.i m so depress.i dunno y she doesnt like her son and me.the saddest part is that she gave the proposal and she liked me for her son.y is she treating em like this?all her relative like me but she doesnt.also i asked my hubby to clear things with her but he didnt like the idea and now is upset with me?wats my fault.i was just protecting him.im hurt

I understand that marriage takes alot of work, by both people. How do you get your spouse to work with you? How long can it last? My parents have been married for 50yrs so I know it can be done, but people don't have the same commitment that people used too.
PS...I'm working on my second divorse, I can't do it my myself!!!

We have been together for 5 months and are living together. He says she is a good friend and that they just slept together once but didnt take it to a relationship. The last time they spoke he called her from the airport before my plane landed and spoke for 1/2 hour (until my plane landed) (yes i checked his phone) When i told him it upset me he said not to give him an ultimatum (i hadnt yet) that if I told him to stop talking to her then we'd break up. He says "its not about her its about trust issues that I have that will not end with just that one girl." Is this him bull shiiting or is he right? Seems wrong though, regardless of the reason, that he would end our relationship just to talk to some girl. (by the way she is in the middle of a divorce!) He has asked me to meet her so it cant be bad right? Also, she IM'd him and he told her me and him were back together and she said "thats cool" nothing bad at all. She def didnt know I was watching him write. He is a really nice guy
