Marriage & Divorce - 20 September 2006

We are having serious problems in our relationship of 3 years. We are at a standstill, moving nowhere except tp break-up. I do not know how to move forward together. He is greek and does not beleive in therapy. We also live in Greece. I am frustated by the fighting going around in circles. We need help or this will end. We love each other and do not want it to end but i have had enough and am so tired. I have tried everything i know and have no other ideas. We need an outsider to teach or show us some things but he will not consider it. It is private and not culturally acceptalble. So? Any ideas? please?

Hey...i typed “am lonely” and here I am....

Am from India and came to NYC 2 years ago, am 23 now. I was 21 when i came here. I was just out of college at 21 and came to US from India where i had lots of friends. All my relatives and family is in india!!

Although i meet new people here, i am not able to find any one nice guy/girl that can be my best friend... i had never felt that my social abilities were flawed until i came here to a totally foriegn country....

i do know some people from work here...but they r only friends...not some girls like the girls in the TV series “Sex and the city” I wish I had a group of friends here...i do have a husband....he is totally busy though...

Any down toearth simple people who want to be friends with me here?

Ok, been married 11 years, but have stopped having sex, that's by her wish... I hate it, cause I love having sex. Now we sleep in different rooms, and barely talk to each other. Been like this over a year now, and I'm getting depressed. ppl i seed some serious advice. 7 mths ago i decieved my parents n got mariied to dis gal thinking dat she wud make my life 4 me. now i am a victim of domestic violence. This girl have verbally abused me n my family n physically abused me. She even went to the extent of calling my mom a whore and me a son of a whore. She has moved out of the city but still torments me. I am a simple guy froma well to do family. My mom n dad r very depressed. I have lost my mental peace n dis is affecting my work. She calls me n abuses me n my family n den tells me dat she will not leave, totally broken my self esteem. i need advice ppl..............plz o plzzzzzzzz help me.

He is sensitive, and I am learning. He listens, responds, and is understanding to my needs. He says I have to open up. I thought I did when I said, "I do, " however, it seems I have not... to par. How do I "let it go"? How do I completely trust as he does? I always equated "letting go" with weakness. My husband says I am defensive. We were raised different ways. He gives A LOT based on prior relationships. I just want to be able to give him what he gives me every single day, which is trust and open communication. How do I let go of those inhibitions?

My wife has a low sex drive and while she claims that she is very satisfied sexually, she doesn't seem to want it more than about once every 10 days. I would think that if the sex is good, she'd want it more often. Am I just not doing the right things to get her in the mood? Or am I missing signs?

Ok,so back in like 1998-99 my hubby dated this chick for a few months..they were around 16 years old@the time.and werent that serious..and she cheated on him..and i didnt know my now hubby or the ex.In 2000 me and hubby meet and go out,psycho ex finds out we are together&where I work&proceeds to harass me(keep in mind i didnt know this girl)she would cuss me and act all crazy,finally she got kicked out of the store where I worked,but she cont.to harass me for like 3 1/2 years..(during the time she had 2 babys by 2 dads)well,the harassment finally stopped,no more prank calls,or trying to run me off rd or etc.well,she got hubby cell off a online ad he placed and she keeps calling him and is calling me AGAIN!I had 5 missed calls(and shes too dumb to know to block the#)hubby is too big of a wuss to take care of it himself!!!What should I do?Shes crazy and I am concerned she may come to my new employer and start stuff!!Any advice?Has anyone ever dealt with this before?I am at my wits end!!!

I separated from my common law 6 months ago and moved back home, 12 hours away. i left when the baby was 3m. he basically left me for this trip south for work which included spring break. i was so mad i left while he was gone. anyway, in a nutshell, things go out fo hand with the lawyers and a lot of damage was done. i was still hoping to reconcile and he was up to a point and then all of a sudden he wanted separation. i asked him if he met someone else, he said no. i saw him a couple of times after and he seeme distant. i asked him again if he met somone else. he said no. anyway, i just got word that he's been seeing someone for a while, not sure how long, and he's quite content and committed. i was shocked. he had wanted me to sign the separation agreement very quickly last time he was here. i feel he lied to me and i am not sure why, if he just doesn't know how to tell me or if he wants me to sign before getting upset? what do you think?? what should i do? go spy?? was he cheating

Right now I am engaged to my cousin whom I haven't seen since almost ten years.He lives in Saudia while I live in Lahore (Pakistan).Recently my mother and my sister did plan this engagement with my approval.It's been four months I am engaged now.I had a good image regarding my fiance when he was 17 years old.But now everything seems getting broken because of the attitude of my fiance.I did speak to him several times during these four months.

During the whole conversation period, I did notice following negative traits is his attitude:-

1) He taunts very often.In every sentence I smell taunting and it hurts me.
2) He is senseless.
3)After every second he says " I love you" and wants me to say the same to him although this is completely an arranged marriage.Please note he has not seen me since ten years and before this engagement he used to call me sister.He has just seen me in pictures.But how come we could fall in love with some one just seeing his/her pictures.

in ghosts, I mean my brother in law passed away in April of 06
and strange things have happened, like my DvD's falling off the stand , and t.v changeing by it self , my blender cup fell out of the
