I actually just stick it on. Never have given it much thought. I checked. Both bathrooms it is over. I've been married 31 years and I've been putting the rolls on. Guess without ever noticing I must like it over.

I prefer it over cuz it's easier to find the end, but some say that doing it under visually creates an image that your pulling more tissue than you are really getting off the roll which could mean you save more TP this way...
Not sure if there is a "right" answer for this one, just personal preference I guess!

That way it's easier to rip. Oh sure you can rip the other way but if you screw it up you end up with about 2000 feet of T-paper on the floor.
