My ex-husband and I were married for a little over 20 years. It is my understanding that his retirement pension and savings plan are community property. However, it seems that he is blocking me from getting my portion now that he is recieving his benefits. I want to know if this is legal or if I need to get a lawyer and fight for what is rightfully mine. Anyone???

written tax form. I don't think I should have to pay her to do my taxes. Maybe I should charge her for my computer consulting.

I had a change in my job status and have to reduce child support payments. (My ex knows about the job). I'm visiting the kids next week. Do I tell my ex today via e-mail or wait till I see her in person next week?

I'm 23, wife is 22 (young I know) with a 2 yr old son. My wife left Tuesday because she was unhappy. She felt lonely and useless at home while I was gone all day and worked. So she packed up all her stuff while I was at work ( I had no idea), and left me a note that said that she was going back to school and moving in with her parents. I'm not a sleaze-bag, I haven't been the best husband, but I have always provided for my family. I've never cheated on her, or abused her. But I know that I've failed to convey my love effectively. What should I do? Her note said not to contact her immediately but how long should I wait before I call? I think she is just jealous of her twin sister and single friends in college having fun. Any help is appreciated.

My in-laws are horrible. They live 2 hours away. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is away. (he is in the army...in the states thankfully) They come to my house and just take over. They won't even let me park in my own driveway for crying out loud. They will even call to ask where my car is parked and how long my grass is. If I tell my kids to do something they will contradict me and say things like "poor baby, your mother won't let you do anything" They rearrange things in my house and put things where they want it. They purposely give things to my kids that I don't want them to have. They will even say "I know your mother doesn't want you to have this but here you go" They insult my side of the family (in front of the kids) by saying "that baby (my nephew) is so ugly. That's the ugliest baby I have ever seen." They are just evil. My husband and i only see each other 2 days a week and I don't want to fight with him when I do get to see him. He doesn't understand.

Due to the price inflation of diamonds and the way in which they are mined, I am repulsed by the idea of a diamond engagement ring but I do want a real stone of some kind that sparkles a lot and is durable like diamonds are.

I am getting married and my 2 youngest are biologically my partners si once I'm married I will re-register them with his surname however, my eldest has a different biological father, who has nothing to do with her. He has no legal parental responsibility. How does she get to have the same family name as the rest of us....does he have to adopt her?

I really appologize for this. I do not mean to be offensive!! But this is something my ex really likes, and I want to do for her whatever she likes, desires, and turns her on.

i have a problem with jealosy, my wifes work has invited my wife to a work function with alcohol, and because of where it is it is going to be a stay over night. iam furious with this, both with my wifes work for the disrespect and anxiety they have put on me and my wife for letting me go through it. i wittnessed time and time again trouble both in relationships where alcohol is involved and observing friends under the influence it can lead to terrible consequences no matter how good we think we are. i've read on the net how to overcome jealousy, but the question is do i want to!i have a real moral issue with this! i dont stop my wife spending nights with girlfriends. but going to a booze up on her own and spending the night i'm freaking. lets face it who of us on this earth can fully be trusted when alcohol has worn at our common sense and our self disipline. idont want to be a controlling freak does that mean i end this knowing i cant rise up against this, to ease her suffering!

Please only serious answers. I've been through enough crap, I don't need someone insulting me. What is the motive behind a man asking to bring another woman in? I gave my husband sexual favors frequently, sex just about everyday, was willing to do just about anything(that was just the two of us) to please him. And to be honest, I was a pretty damn good lover. I had different styles, different positions. I could be sweet and we could make love, but then I could be spotaneous and surprise him with different locations. There were times when he took charge and times when I took charge. Also, there were different positions, different toys.... Is he not satisfied? Is he bored? Or is he just an inconsiderate pr*ck?
