People marry for various reasons and some of them just to fill the void , emptiness, loneliness etc.. in their lives. Some marry because of expectations placed on them by parents etc...
Some even marry for basic reason it's cheaper when 2 people join their resources. Some marry to meet their physical need i.e sexual needs.

Marriage is no longer an institution that is sacred and most people don't get to know one another fully, that is in the emotional and intellectual level but rather harp and bother about the chemistry or X factor and by the time they get to know one another, they discover that they don't really like or respect this person they married and that they have nothing in common.

Some even come to realise that love actually isn't enough to sustain the marriage and that a humans level of loving some one is actually conditional, whereby love is actually unconditionally. Real love always groom, nature and blooms a person to it's full potential of being whole and complete, otherwise it's just lust.

Marriage today is viewed as restrictive, that one of the reasons marriage does not work out and is easier to break up and start again. Instead of taking responsibility and trying to work out the dysfunctional dynamics that causing the friction in the marriage.

every Man/women are like that.. dear! even they are broken up...there is always an earge to get in hold with someone..to care about..to love..that is human nature...

even having problems too is a human nature...
some people understand and solve those problems easily.. some dont!

there is nt any problem that havent a solution.. i belive..

but they just broken up.. get divorced by seeing an instance of differences.

if men and women learn to get understand eachother and learn how to love in its true meaning..that was good!

There is nt any a perfect man or women..
accepting this fact will help! i feel..

People get marry as they feel the one they choose is the perfect one..later they find the truth!

Reg your question..even if they see marriages breaking up...some think they could easily have a great life..with their partner and get into a life... and

it will be good for sometime if they just love their partner. a mere materialistic love...it is..
It will be fine for a long time if they try to understand their partner.
more close and realistic..
It will be life long if they have a heart to understand, and Love their partner in its "true meaning"
This is so sacred a life.. and too hard to find!
cheers!!

Not all marriages break. Many marriages last for years.Decades.Even Diamond Jubilees have been celebrated by couples. So a few broken marriages do not stop people from marrying. Besides every man or woman wants to be a father/mother , to continue the family tradition, name.Marriage is a licence to live togather, to sleep togather, whenever one wants to with husband/wife.Marriage gives you social security. It allows you to be invited to all social activites in human life.Bachelors,Spinsters are unwelcome.Treated with scorn or hounded for sex.So marry and live happilly ever after.

Because they love the person that they are with and hope that their love is one of those that is strong enough to beat the statistics and problems that face many marriages today. When you are in love with someone, you don't think that you'll end up being divorced...you feel so much for the other person that you don't think that you could hurt them or that they would disrespect you in a way that would hurt you. Not every marriage ends in divorce and if you really love someone enough to where you could see yourself spending the rest of your life with them, why not make this committment and demonstrate how much this relationship means. Not every marriage will work out but its even more important to remember that not every marriage ends in divorce either.

I'd like to think that we marry despite those examples because deep down, at the very core of our existance, we believe in those fairy tales we were shown as children, really do come true. I'm engaged right now and am planning on getting married next year and despite the many hard times I've seen friends go through, I'm still planning on walking down that isle because in the midst of darkness, I still hope to see the light. I don't know if that makes any sense or answers your question at all but I thought I'd try... :)

Because all of us that get married hope we can beat the odds of a divorce. Others get married because they think it's the right thing to do. Still others get married because they know they will get a ton of money if they do get divorced. I've been married for seven years, my husband is my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him.

When you love someone and want to marry them. You're different from a married couple who split up. You too might be just prefect for each other. That the way I look at things.

Contrary to what you may think, people don't get married with hopes of getting a divorce. Some relationships just end up that way.
