I know about legal aide, but I'm currently disabled and need a divorce. I have no current income and Legal aide wants $1000 dollars. I have been away from this man for 6 years and in hiding because he tried to kill me and all, and would love a divorce.

What the hell is the deal with so many women wanting to go back to men who don't want them, men who cheated, men who left not only them but their own kids, and men who generally treated them like crap? WHY GO BACK???? Why don't these women move forward? Find someone who will be decent to them..... are that many women THAT insecure? Do they really think they need a man like that? Why wouldn't they rather be alone with some self respect than live with a self centered arrogant pig?

Me and my wife have been together for three years and have a 6 month old son together. Up till now we have had an occaisional disagreement but now the arguments are more intense and seem more power struggle oriented. but as usual after sex everything is calm again like nothing ever happened.

Personally, I think it's natural for women, after the wedding, they feel they own you, and they try to see how far they can push you until the man reverts to an overwhelming gesture to regain power. (yelling, leaving or breaking something)
But it seems when I am a controlling asshole, all is normal. Am I not seeing the womans side?

And No. I do not resort to phsical violence against my wife.

Me and my ex got a divorce the end of June. We are currently living together. The reason for the divorce was I was confussed. Iwas very unhappy. the whole time I thought he was making me unhappy. But I relized after it was to late it was my job creating my unhappiness. Well, I quit my job and now I am very happy with my current one. I messed up. Now I would give anything to remarry him. We have two small children together. Like I said we are living together and we are happy. But I feel like something is missing with our vows together. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

It's not me (so she says) and the rare once a month that she gives in for sex is usually very, very good. But obviously, this is driving me crazy ! It would drive anyone crazy ! Almost to the point though, where I feel totally unwanted and looking elsewhere to fulfill the need. We're still young and I have even told her my feelings before, but she just apologizes and says she can't help it.
She truly is wonderful other than this extreme nag I have with her and I have NO plans on leaving her. However, I really need to ask other wives out there that can relate to a LOW sex drive or fear of initiating - Why, why, why ??? And anything I can do to improve this lousy scenario ?

I'm divorced and I want to move back to Florida with my 3 kids (all naturalized u.s. citizens). If I move without the consent of my ex, will the American Government help us stay in the U.S. or will I have to return to Argentina so their father can see them 4 days out of a month! I have sole custody and he is not involved in helping me raise my kids. His motto: I provide, you raise them. Ya that was great when we were married but there's no alimony for ex wives here, only child support and it's impossible to find a job here. (high unemployment rate). Also, I don't have any family here. I'm alone. Help!!

What can I do to make her less jealous?
It's not like I am always talking with other women.

I used to hear s hi t about going to the gym too much so i bought weigths for the garage and now I hear that I work out so much for attention rather than just being healthy or feeling good.

My wife is still very attractive herself so I dont know where the insecurity comes from. I try to just ignore it and let it pass but sometimes it can be annoying

I asked a question last week about whether I should get a job or go to school. Well, I got a job at a local Wal-Mart and will be making good money. Thanks to all of you who answered. Anyway, now I have another problem. I do love my husband and we just broke up at the beginning of August. I want to go to marriage counseling and try to work things out with him. But he keeps going back and forth with what he wants to do. Yesterday he told me that he did love me but that part of him doesn't want to get back together. So I asked him why he doesn't want to get back together and he had a list of reasons. Then I asked him why he did want to get back together and he said, "Because I love you and the kids." Then I asked him what he loved about me and he couldn't answer me. It broke my heart when I saw that he wasn't wearing his wedding ring. So does that mean that he just wants to get back together for the kids? Should I just give up or should I give him time? I am so confused right now.

first of all I want to thank ALL of you who posted on my last question! I appreciate it more than I could ever express... My dilemma isnt just whether or not I should leave him, but how. I know I can call the cops... but it's my house, owned my me before we were married, and I am afraid he will ruin everything I have worked so hard for. also as far as my ex is concerned, we dated 7 years ago, and we both have grown up SO MUCH since then...we dated when we were 16, and now, being 23 and having spent most of my young adult life (since I was 17) with my husband, I dont know how to feel... I sometimes feel that I was too young to marry, and was too impresionable. The abuse is not a daily thing, more like a bi-weekly thing... mostly verbal, but sometimes physical... I am just tired and need to feel like my thoughts are justified... *James*, the ex, has been talking with me and has said that despite his feelings for me, he ultamately wats me to be happy and has been helping me keep my mind.

Long story short there was this lady having a rough time getting all her groceries, etc loaded in her car at Costco and I was waiting for her parking space so I put the car in park and helped her out and thought nothing of it...... for whatever this upset my wife. mmk well my mom is getting married in two weeks.... and she says I never do anything... but so far Ive burned 150 wedding cds, drove for 3 hours for abousloty nothing so she could get two things... had to try on a dress while crapping on my period... messed up my pants on my period trying on this dress... My sister has this little problem with getting her hubby off the couch and to work....See she works 8hrs a day 6 days a week and cooks, cleans ,gets up early to take the kids to school even tho she worked late the night before...and he does absolutly nothing to help her ...Well she gets to live in a house is parents own for free so she hasnt left him cause of that cause she has 4 children and the cost of daycare cost alot of money and shes lucky to get him to sit with the kids when shes at work....how would you handle a situation like that? cause I told her leave but its to complicated right now for her to do that.

My husband is deploying in mid October. I had a son 5 months ago and we have been married less than 2 years. I love him so much and I am willing to support him and stand beside him no matter what, but how in the world will I get through 15 months without him there? Why do men have to be asked to do things that obviously need to be done then say we nag? Why walk by your dirty underwear 5 times, why not just pick them up so we don't have to ask you to? Why leave your nasty hair in the sink till we want to strangle you? Why leave the garbage spilling all over the place till we ask ever so politley for you to take it out? Why not cut the grass before the kids lose 50 baseballs in it because it's so high? We don't leave your laundry to get moldy on the laundry room floor and we don't leave dishes in the sink till the flies come to feast. We don't leave the same sheets on the bed till the board of health is ready to condem the house so whats the deal?
