My boyfriend and I have been together for 6.5 yrs and I would really like to have kids but my boyfriend is totally against it. We have a wonderful relationship, we both ride motorcycles and go alot of places and really enjoy life, he thinks having kids will stop all that. I really enjoy what we do and dont want to loose him, although periodically I get very depressed that I havent had any kids and I feel an emptiness. Will I be resentful later, I already do get upset when I see other couples with baby BUT NOT ALL THE TIME, I feel rejected by him, or should I just be happy with the life I have and just live with the fact we are not going to have kids.

For the life of me I can't remember what it's called when people get married and realize it was a mistake. There is a certain amount of time where they can unmarry but it isn't called divorce. What is it called. I feel really dumb for asking, but I can't think of it!!

I have been married for 7 years today, our only fight is about sex! He wants it all the time and I don't. We have 2 kids, one 4 year old who is hyper and needs my attention 24 hours a day and even wakes up 3 times a night! and a 7 year old with a syndrom thats puts alot of daily stress on me. Also my husband is gone out of town working all the time. I do everything with the kids and the house. When he comes home I am happy to see him but only because I can go to the grocery store without taking the kids!!! and at bedtime..i just wanna look at the back of my eyelids! He just can't seem to get why I am so tired, and why I am not wanting sex.

I've been married for 5 years, to a wonderful man, i left for college, thinking it would have benieted our income, we have 2 kids. at the time my husband was ok with it, but after that, our marriage just ended, without reason. He is in the Army, and is heading to iraq, and i have been trying desepartley to get him back, he's been talking to a girl online, that is a college student, and she has been talking to him about our marriage, and is trying to get us back together, but he is starting to lust after her, but she is trying to make him see things, and how a marriage, is never lost etc. He is going to be home next month, but doesn't want to see me, but i really want to see him, and talk to him. i want my husband back, how can i do this? and what do i say to him? I love him so much, and i don't want to lose him forever.

My husband and I are going through a divorce. He is over seas and does not want the divorce and refuses to sign any papers. I am divorcing him while he is away because when I tried to leave him before he left he made things miserable for my son and me and my parents. Constantly calling and harrassing us and I went back but since he has been gone things have been so much calmer and happier. Well about a month ago he decided that he no longer wanted me to have access to his money because he thought I was spending too much of it and I never told him what I was spending it on so he opened a second bank account with his mother and has all of his money put into that account he doesn't give any money to me or the baby even though we are still "married" Is this abandonement or does it have to go on for a longer period of time. I do work full time and can pay the bills but I called my lawyer but wasn't sure or what questions i should ask. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm generally happy with my relationship of over two years with my current girlfriend. We are living togethernow, and we are planning to get married in six months. This is my second marriage, so I've been around for a bit.
Our frequency has slipped to about 1x per week now, and I see the trend continuing downward. I don't know what to think about this trend. Is it wrong to say, "hey when we got together we made love every other day and we both seemed to be happy. I thought this was how it was going to be most of the time for us. I'm not happy with where our sex life is going and I wish we could make love more often than we do now."

ok i am 20 and single, i have a 4month old child by a woman that i was never married to. she never let me put my name on the birth certificate andshe basically has not given me any rights to the child. i paid for us to get a dna test done i found out the baby was mines(and im happy about that) then i took her to court in order for me to start paying child support. i was hoping that she would let me see the child, but instead she filed a protection order saying that i absued her while she was pregnant, (which is a lie because the many attempts i tried to make to see her she said i couldnt) she also has a boyfriend now, but i am basically tired of this whole thing and being that i will never be able to see my child until she was 18 i was wondering how can i get out of the child support payments and then pursue to see my child later on down the road, i really need some good legal help but cant afford it, i was set to go to the military until all of this happened so i just need help. thank

It just seems to me that when ever my ex husband starts dating other women, he treats me differently. With one girlfriend, he was overly nice. I now the only reason was to impress her, but it was so nice to get along. (we have two small children together) Now he is with a new girl who I know to be a B**** . He is now treating me like crap, being short with me, hanging up on me, not letting me talk to my kids on the weekend, ect. I just don't understand where this is all coming from. Can anyone help me understand why?

I have lived with my domestic partner for 19 years. On my 39th birthday, he told me he didn't love me anymore. He wanted to have me stay at home for the last 15 years to care for all things domestic. I accidently found an e-mail address he had of which I was not aware of. It had over 2000 e-mail messages to have sex with other men, including married men with kids. Unprotected sex. Now I am hiv+, he is trying to kick me out without a dime, denying our relationship ever existed. Though we live in CA, My attorney says I have enough evidence to prove our domestic relationship, but there is not one piece of evidence he intended for all assets acquired during these 19 years to belong to both of us. I have never been single (19 out of 39 years with him), hiv+, lack of work experience (though I have degrees in accounting, finance, and pre-law), and losing the most important thing in my life, him, why should I not consider suicide. I suffer from extreme depression and extreme social phobia.

ex husband had the kids on his weekend, he let the little trollop my 13 yo son is seeing spend the night, who can i have arrested here, her parents or my %^%^^&% ex? That has got to be endangering the welfare of a minor or something, I dont even let her come over to my house anymore since they cant keep hands off, and they have to be seperated in school too.

I think marriage has been idealised somehow. People don't realise that in a marriage, you fall in and out of love, therefore, it shouldn't be grounds for divorce. People cheat, it is common. but forgiveness is key and especially with children, any marriage is worth fighting for.
No one wants to fight for their marriages. People are selfish, put their own sexual/emotional needs above their children, don't forgive their spouses and then everyone wonders why we have such a high divorce rate!
Bottom line is: know the person who you intend to marry well before you actually do and know them well before you sleep with them, then when you do get married; expect the worst! --bad things happen in life and your going through life together, sticking with it and becoming best friends through a team partnership is the key to a rewarding successful marriage and happy family home!
Everyone needs to get the marriage ideal bullcrap out of their heads and be willing to give more than get back

I would say that selfishness is the first sign of decay in society and it starts with the commitment of marriage and raising a family.
People who seek "happiness" all the time usually end up jumping from the frying pan into the fire and end up not just as miserable as before, but alone and poor.-- any thoughts?
