It just seems to me that when ever my ex husband starts dating other women, he treats me differently. With one girlfriend, he was overly nice. I now the only reason was to impress her, but it was so nice to get along. (we have two small children together) Now he is with a new girl who I know to be a B**** . He is now treating me like crap, being short with me, hanging up on me, not letting me talk to my kids on the weekend, ect. I just don't understand where this is all coming from. Can anyone help me understand why?

It sounds like me simple maybe inside very deep ourselves still hurts and it depends if those new girls are acting similar to his ex then either you making him feel happy or you turn him off and is difficult for us to justified every move we do or act it varies on each man different feelings and reasons best way is if you are very int resting in that particular man as friend or boyfriend way is to ask him questioner maybe he will let you come in into his heart and let you know his reasons

Girl I feel what you are saying. My ex is the same way. I wish I had an answer for you. They are just asses. I think too they have to put on this front so the new girlfriend knows there is nothing between you guys anymore. Ya know so the girlfriend can't say anything. Like why are you so nice to her, stuff like that. It just makes their life easier with the new girlfriend.

Ohhhhh it's the influence of the 'other woman'..though not really the other woman since you are divorced..but you know what I mean...and...it's never comfortable (or takes YEARS) so the personality flips all over the place. Yours probably does a little too but you just don't notice it...it sure is a hard thing to go through - and really? Neither one of you should be having girlfriends (or boyfriends) around those kids unless either one of you get's engaged again...that's not good for them no matter HOW young or old they are.

Been there. Except he wasn't EVER nice. Always rude, difficult, hard to get along with. I would say blue sky- he'd say green and so on. Mine married one of those women. She is an over controlling, underhanded, manipulative and bossy.

It could be he is trying to let his new girl know he no longer wants you. If you have the kids during the week don't worry about it. His true colors will come out for all to see.

What difference does it make why? Just tell him to at least be consistent with his attitude. Try to avoid him as much as possible. If your kids are old enough tell them to call you. You are well rid of your ex. Obviously, he can't keep a partner. I wonder why.

He obviously hasn't grown up if he lets his current girlfriend dictate how he treats you. Maybe she doesn't like the fact that he has an ex- wife and she's insecure about it.

He was probably nice before because he didn't really want to hurt your feelings and thought that he would take it easy on you.
Now, he is probably stressed or having problems (maybe even in his new relationship) and he's taking it out on other people.
She could also be egging him on.
Ask him... just don't criticize him about it.

The question is...have you stopped to look at yourself for the answer? You could be the reason he acts differently when his new girlfriend, oops excuse me, his new b**ch of a girlfriend is around. Your attitude could have as much to do with it now, as it did when you separated.

It' s really sad that your kids have to live through this. I hope she's not being nasty to your kids. you need to be a ***** right back to your X , put your foot down and get some leverage with him. Tell him that ***** he's with better be good to their kids and that he shouldn't take his crappy sex life and his being manipulated out on you.
