I've been seeing the brother of my close firend for a short time now. We've hung out in group situations for about two months, and recently it got a little more personal with a couple of dinner dates (and awesome smooching!). It's been so great-- he's a really sweet guy, we are mutually interested in seeing eachother, and I already knew that his family are genuinely good people.
He's returning tomorrow to finish his last year at school, but it's away. I'm staying home for school... This is such a new relationship, SO
What are some good ways to keep this good thing going?? How hard do I try to stay in touch, and in what ways..... any creative Ideas are appreciated!!!!
(I really think I could see myself with this person long-term!!)

Do they not remember the vows they took? And it was to God, if they believe in God, then they must know they will pay for it....and if they don't believe, then they will find out they should have....

I've been married almost 10 years, we've been together 13. He cheated on me a few years back and had a child with the other girl. He has no contact with her or the child (his choice). I elected to stay and try to work through it. Lately, I can no longer get turned on when I'm with him unless I'm completely inibriated or fantasizing about other men (usually much younger than I am). I feel really bad because it's starting to affect his ego and our relationship. I still love and care about him but I also want my insatiable sex drive back. The only way I can orgasm is if I masturbate thinking about somebody else (nobody in particular, even a person in a movie I've been watching). Is there anyone out there who has experienced this and gotten through it??? I'm trying to salvage what's left of my marriage. HELP!!

My boyfriend is 23 and recently graduated from college. I'm a second semester sophomore. I will be 19 in January. He wants to get engaged this Fall and married this upcoming Summer. I love him very much and I know we can make it work. I still have a year and a half of undergrad work, plus 4 years of Pharmacy school. I don't want to wait until I graduate to get married. However, I am more hesitant to get married now due to my parents, who have been married 22 years, splitting up this past summer. I'm ready to move on with my life, I don't act like I'm 18/19. What should I say/do?

I have been married for just a short period of time, and realize that we did it for all the wrong reasons. Recently, I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that I am no longer in love with my husband, but have stayed in the marriage for the sake of our children. (Yes, I understand this is not the best thing to do) I have begun to have other feelings for someone else, and have acted upon those feelings. I don't justify that what I did was okay - but since I am no longer in love with my husband it makes me able to tolerate my decision to be unfaithful. The person that I was with is not married, but in a committed relationship. As far as I know, he has no intentions of leaving her and is still in love. How can he justify his decision to cheat?

won't hurt her I say. I'm going to sneak out for a paintball match while she's at her mom's. I should be back 30 minutes before she's supposed to get home.

Women always say that men are cheaters, in their nature, men are dogs, think with their penis, etc. However, I have never cheated on my wife but she did. In fact, most of the good men or the men who have been faithful have had wives were have admitted to outside relationship or have been suspected of being unfaithful. We know that many times women are faihful and continue to put up with a cheating husband. Do we all just take each other for granted? If a spouse knows that they have a person that is totally loving and faithful, are they more likely to have an affair because they don't have the threat of it being done to them. Do we all need a healthy fear that if we don't treat our spouse right, that they may stray. Should we have complete and total trust or should we only trust so much to affiar proof the marriage? In other words, maybe we should not have blind faith that our partner would never do anything. Most people can be tempted given the right place, time, situation.

what helped you to cope best? (Words of wisdom, advice from others who experienced it, switching your focus, etc.) Were you torn between feeling selfish/guilty (i.e. wanting your parents to stay together even though you knew they weren't happy w/each other) & wanting what's best for them (i.e. separation/divorce)?

Most importantly, how did the separation/divorce affect your relationship with your significant other? Did you start feeling paranoid for no reason? Did you start to doubt that you'd ever have a successful relationship but instead feel strongly that the same thing would happen to you and your spouse?

How did you get past feeling that way? Do you now feel totally secure in your marriage/relationship?
